I have a funny George story that I've posted before but here goes...
It was my DS9's birthday and we were in line for PotC. We were about to get on when DS asked the CM if he had remembered to say "Good morning" to George. The CM asked another CM if she had said it because he couldn't remember. The other CM said she wasn't there at opening. Then the 1st CM noticed my DS's birthday button and said as we were getting on the boat, "Its your birthday? Hope it isn't your last." We are riding along and I kind of quietly call out "George, George" and my DS fusses at me to stop. Anyway the rest of the ride was uneventful until we get to the end. We are riding up the conveyor belt to get us to the exit and we stop. The people in the boat in front of us are able to climb to the front of their boat and walk out of the exit. They push the boats behind us back somewhere where we can't see them. But we are on the conveyer belt and stuck. I look over at my DS and he starts crying hysterically. Me, being the concerned and compassionate mother that I am, start cracking up laughing. DD6 was laughing then she started crying. I kept telling them there was no George.
After about 20 minutes, the CMs bring out a portable bridge for us to be able to exit. And who do you think was the CM that helped us? That is right. I said, "Aren't you the one who said you hoped it wasn't his last birthday?" He said shocked, "I was kidding!" The whole thing was so funny. But we got to see the back side of PotC and got so see where the floats were stored for the parade. And we got two sets of front of the line passes since it was DS's birthday. And DS wouldn't get back on that ride until they refurbished it!
