Beginning on Friday the 22nd the overall warm and dry pattern should begin to break down. It looks like Christmas weekend will bring an increasing chance of rain, with the possibility that at least one day from the 24th-26th will see a good deal of rain. The few days after Christmas look clear but generally much cooler.

Say it isn't so :sad2:

I can take the heat, I can take the cold, but not rain, especially a good deal of it!

Let's all cross our fingers for a dry Christmas at Disney!

December is generally drier, but that doesn't mean much. It's Florida, it rains.

This is a tough time to call. It can be either 45F or 80F. Come prepared to be chilly at night and warn during the day. You need to pack a jacket, gloves, and hat if you plan on watching the nighttime fireworks and don't do well in the cold.

Of course this would be the case! Our first day at WDW is the 23rd!!!

Two years ago, the Orlando area set all kinds of record lows and record rain fall that week. No doubt that this year will be similar but Santa brought me a new raincoat and the winter coat, ear warmers and gloves are already next to the suitcase!

We always manage to make the most out of the weather no matter what but we sure are hoping to be able to visit TL as we have never been there before. We'll just have to wait and see I guess!

December avereages about 2.3 in. of rain, so even if it does rain, remember its Florida. It usually only rains for a short period of time. The sun will come out most days, and then there will be some rain and a few hours later, the sun will be back. Thats Florida.

Unfortunately this is not what the weather is forecasting for the upcoming holiday weekend. In my experience Dec seems to have more days that wind up being all day clouds and gloom (we had a couple last week!)

I live in Orlando and have LOTS of outdoor & Disney related activites scheduled starting Friday through Christmas day, so I am keeping my finger crossed that the weather patterns improve.

Although there is a 60% chance of rain Saturday and between 30 & 40% the rest of the days through Christmas at least the temps are forecasted to be in the mid -70s. Looks like Tuesday the temps drop into the 60s.
