The best rate "rates" anyone find, that when the announcement comes for your date of availablity that there is more availablity then OR does disney open more rooms or selection up after you have booked? Has anyone wished they would of waited? OR did you get the best deal, and have been thrilled?

Just curious. Making plans for summer. Thanks mky princess:

I got the WL for $135 a night for Jan & I'm thrilled. I really do feel that this is the best rate that I'll find.

I was able to leisurely look at the rates on my own time, I didn't have to sit on the phone with CRO, I bboked & now I know that if I want to change resorts, I can..... :cool1:

If you know what you want I wouldn't wait to book. By time I made up my mind to take the risk with buying an AP and waiting for it to arrive by mail it was a few weeks after BR was started. When I checked online both my ressies were available to book with BR but by time my TA got around to it which was only a few days later only water view was available for one of them instead of the cheaper garden view. I checked a week later and they didn't open up any more rooms for availability. I was happy with the $150 savings with AAA rate and happier with my additional estimated $100 plus savings by using best rate (room discount plus DDE discount minus extra expense for AP & DDE card)

From the time I first got my AP (July) til now, I have noticed less and less availability as time went on. My advice is to book BRP as soon as you can.

there were no rooms available at POFQ which was my #1 choice. When they changed the BRP to booking from 60 days out instead of 120 minimum, several rooms opened up at POFQ. I had to change ressies. Up until just the past 3 days POFQ rooms have been available and I checked for my parents to come down with us and now they don't have any. :( We are 76 days out from our trip.

Tink10- When are you staying in Jan? I am also staying in Jan, but that's less than the rate I got! Is the room a std view?

I'll be there Jan 25 - 28 in a std view room. The total per night with tax is $150....

:flower:

That's what we were paying too! Now w/tax it's 211. We will be there Jan 6-18th.

I called yesterday to get a courtyard view b/c we will be there 12 nights, and the first 6 nights, we were in a std and the last 6 in a courtyard. I called to switch so we would hopefully not have to change rooms in the middle. They did not have stds available for the 12 nights, but they did have court view, so I had to get those.

What can you tell me about the WL? Have you stayed there? Does it have internet service if we take our labtop?

How soon can you make reservations to Cinderalla's Royal Table BK? It is 90 days? Or 60 days?

I've stayed at the WL once before &it's beautiful! The atmosphere is so relaxing and you feel like you're in another world. I can't answer your questions about the internet access because we have a long standing rule of no computers while we're on vacation.....My hubby regularly telecommutes and I have a small online business, so if either of us brought a laptop, one of us would be working......

The ressies for Cindy's can be made 90 days in advance, but you need to be sure you call exactly 90 days out. There is the new dining ressie program, but we never make dining ressies, so again, I don't know much about it. If you check on the Restaurant board, you can find all the info on it.

Enjoy your stay at WL!! :sunny:
