Gene just made the best French Onion Soup!

He cooked the onions down in Spiced Apple Wine from a local winery and then added chicken and beef stock. There's the lightest flavor of apple and cinnamon that tastes great. I love Fr. Onion Soup anyway, but this is exceptional.
