Gender-neutral baby gifts?

I know about the pink and blue mouse ears, but are there gender-neutral baby items that are park-exclusive?

My aunt's about 3 mos. with her first (she's coming with my mom and I to Disneyland) and I want the baby to have a souvenir from its "first visit" (doubling as a baby shower gift). I want to get something gender neutral but I've never actually looked at any baby items while in the park (if left to the mercy of its father, the only items the child will ever get from Disneyland will be Star Wars-themed...it already has 2 different-sized sets of child Star Wars pajamas and a slew of action figures awaiting it:rolleyes:). It's a day trip so I don't want to spend hours going through each shop on the property. Thanks in advance.

I couldn't find much on my last trip. There are a lot of gender neutral "kid" t-shirts, but not a lot of baby stuff. It looked definitely specific for boy or girl. Your best bet is probably the baby/child section of World of Disney. There are cute little toys if you don't want clothes. A onesie that says "Disneyland" and is gender neutral is always what I want, but can never find.

The day after Christmas, I saw a little baby wearing the CUTEST little beanie with Mickey ears. I wanted one for my lil' one at the time who was almost a year and a half, but they weren't available in her size.:( I found them in the Emporium (at the far south end, closest to the fire station). I didn't bother checking last month while there though, so I'm not sure if they still carry them. But you should definitely try to see if they're still there!

We got the red ones for DS. They only have the one size every time we are there. :sad1:

When I was pregnant with our last baby, I had a really hard time finding gender neutral. Believe me I was looking. I ended up with one of the Frontierland baby pj's that look kind of Christmassy and are plaid. My husband did not care for this outfit on our little girl though.
You might want to look in the shop in Toontown. We did buy a gender neutral(green outfit) First Disney Bear. It is soft and cute. Good Luck!

I was at the park last week and had the exact same problem. Both of my boyfriend's sisters are pregnant and don't know the gender yet. We wanted to get them both gender neutral onesies, but could not find anything we loved. A few stores, including world of disney and the shop at GCH have bright red onesies with a picture of mickey that say "lovable", but they only had them in sizes 9 months and up. We ended up getting 2 green and yellow striped onesies with a tiny pooh emblem on them at Disney Clothiers on Main Street. We weren't crazy about them because we don't consider Pooh to be very disney but it was the best we could do. We were really hoping to just find plain white onesies that said Disneyland on them or maybe some characters, but we couldn't find them anywhere.

My sister and brother-in-law are expecting their first and when I went down in December, I didn't know yet what they were having. I settled on a baby Pluto plushie.

I'm not sure if this would count, but I know in my family "Winnie the Pooh" is gender-neutral, and I'm sure that there's a ton of Pooh things to be sorted through.

Thanks everyone! I knew I could get great answers from the posters here. The beanies sound really cute.

So they are still selling the beanies? You used to be able to get them in the online store, but they are gone now. :sad2: Here's hoping they have them next year. They are adorable. If the baby ends up being a girl you could always attach a bow to it after.

Good idea... even cuter! ;)
