You're getting soo close! Can I ask a small favor? Can you see if you can get some of those black mickey head plates that they give the kids at sit down meals?? I have known 2 different people from my hometown that have gone down and both either came back with the wrong plates (the cardboard ones from QS meals) or forgot completely? See if they will just give you extra ones (for free...if they want you to pay then do not get them) and if you could get me six of them then I will get with you later to get them shipped to me! I want to use them for the kids meals at Caleb's Mickey Mouse birthday party in September!

We can ask. I may not be understanding exactly what you are talking about, though. What are they made of - glass, melamine, plastic? We used to keep the plastic ones from a long time ago, but they stopped using those. I don't remember the girls getting black Mickey head plates at sit down meals lately. Yes one of the round ones. They had them when we went and I did the same as you. The tote bags are what they are sold out of online. I didn't find the ornaments there.

I know it's a natural tendency to focus on the little one-especially since Bella was timid about the characters...but, I hope for this trip at least one character COMPLETELY dotes on Brooklynn! And I hope Bella is brave this trip!
This will be one of the good things about me taking Brooklynn alone in October. When she goes up to see a character, it will just be her. I do feel badly for her sometimes, as she stands and waits so patiently.
That Holiday Inn is just down the road from the Premium Outlet Mall (take a right out of the HI and a right on Vineland Ave. and it's just down on the right). There's a pretty good Disney Character Outlet Store there. You should give it a try while you're there! There's also a Publix just down from there on the left. That is if it's the Holiday Inn on Vineland Rd (535).
We may try to get to both of those places on arrival day, depending on what time we get there. Is the Publix overpriced? We normally stop at the Ocala
Walmart to stock up on fresh fruit and snacks before we finish our drive, but we could wait until we got to Publix if they have just normal prices.
I was talking to the boys (my brother and his friend) and I think they were a bit on the fence about O'Hana....until I mentioned all-you-can-eat meat. They were THEN all about it. I might have to roll them out of there. They are not large boys, but MY GOODNESS can they eat!!!
They'll need to help John, because I know I won't eat anywhere near my money's worth. That's the downside to buffets for me, since I can't eat a lot in one sitting.
Tell them to save room for the bread pudding at the end, it's the best part of the meal

Hooray for Bella! Great to see her looking so comfortable with a character.
I think her being able to climb on the curb was a diversion. She was focused on staying up on that little step, so the character was kind of secondary, and before she knew it, she got sucked in.
Ohana is a carnivore's dream for sure. I think John will be pleased. That is the one restaurant that we have repeated on each trip and is mandatory for ALL future trips! None of the other Disney restaurants have made it to the "must go on EVERY trip" list yet, so that should tell you how much we liked it. I certainly hope it is that good for you guys too!

We sure have visions of a delightful meal at 'Ohana.
We will soon see what Bella does with other characters, but Jill says they have watched videos and looked at pictures and talked about how she can follow 'Issy' up to meet them. She thinks she understands now that there is no danger.

I try to wait for open areas when I can, but that's not always possible. I would like to get to World Showcase when it first opens to get some good fountain shots.

Hey MeMom! I will be in contact on FB to try and make that meet on the 2nd!!! We just got back from the cruise and are kicking back at Vero now!!! SO much fun we have had! I think we'll be able to make it work, at least I will make it over there to be sure!

Love the pictures of sweet little Bella with Sleeping Beauty! It looks like she's finally starting to warm up I just wanna come over and give her a huge hug (and Brooklyn too)! Chefs De France is also on my list of places to eat! Last trip me and my mom ended up booking one less adr then we needed so our Epcot dinner was wherever we picked! My mom and I sat in France and she got the grand marnier slush (and we ended up sharing it) and she asked where we should eat and I suggested chefs de france but as soon as I told her Remy was there she refused! (My mom and Grandma have a rediculous fear of rodents! When they went to it's tough to be a bug they had to lift their feet up and stand up when the animals came)! Can I ask a favor? Could you get a photo of the Disney Babies area at world of Disney and the baby girl area there? Thanks!

Well I'll be having some fun next week too. I used some of the money I got for graduation to buy Red Sox tickets My mom and I are going next Friday!
Our house is very chaotic right how We have a family friend, who happens to be a contractor, doing some work for us. He was here all last week and he'll be here the rest of this week. He replaced 8 of our windows, and he's putting new shingles on the back of the house and the roof. He also put a new roof on our shed today. The windows look great! I have a new one in my room. The only downside is all the noise My cousin's coming down to hang out with me for a couple days this week and I'm very excited to get out of the house
I'd love to have new windows here. These are a mess. Good for you guys getting your house all fancied up.

I think once Bella got up to the fence and found a climbing spot, she was so engrossed in that that she didn't think so much about Aurora. That girl loves to climb!

Is everybody going to 'Ohana on NYE? We were thinking of doing 1900 Park Fare that night and then walking over, but I'll talk to Jill and see what she thinks. If the whole gang is doing 'Ohana, we might, too. Maybe we'll make a decision after we eat there first, just to be sure.
Brooklynn is a little tall, and those girls are a little short, so it makes for a big difference. We needed one medium-sized girl in there.
