Geen Yight - She's Out of Sight: A Trip of Leaps and Bounds

I love that picture of you and all your kids and grandkids!

I sure do love that bunch of kids!!!

I'm am truly so happy for you that you had all your family together again for Mother's Day!

I was a happy camper, for sure. :goodvibes
Hope you guys had a great day, as well.

Your family group pictures are wonderful. You can feel the love between you and your children.

There is a lot of love there. ::yes:: I feel so, so blessed to be a Mom and a MeMom.

I love that picture of you with your family MeMom!

Thanks. I told them to hide me, but they didn't do it to my satisfaction.

Hi MeMom and Jill!

Just wanted to say hello!

Hello, world traveler. Hope you had a wonderful day with your sweet girl and your mom. Have you sold the house yet?

They met when we were in Disney last year. I don't think they got to talk too much, but Kailyn really liked her. We live close enough together that I'm hoping if we do a day trip over the summer, like a whale watch, that Christine can come with us. I keep wanting to tell Kailyn to add her on Facebook, too.

I guess she thinks since she's not Disney crazy like Christine and the rest of us, they might not have so much in common. I just thought since they'll both be new college students, they might be able to share that excitement.

I'm so glad you shared your family pic with us....

I had no idea that Steak n' Shake served breakfast. Very thoughtful of BrooklynnsMommy to treat everyone.

So sweet of Jarvis to bring you by a card and a Disney one at that.

The girls had on cute little dresses.

I wish I could have one of those empty seats at your 4th of July dinner at 'OHana....but maybe we can have a do over for NYE?

Does that mean that Dave is going to do a live feed of the fireworks?

If you can make the Oct. trip work for Kay & her grandaughter....you may find it fun to have thier company.

I didn't know Steak and Shake served breakfast either. Well, I did know, but I knew it from so many years back that I had forgotten. Like years and years and years back, because I think Steak and Shake was the place we used to eat at some on the beach when I would go to Florida with my cousins as a little girl.

The dresses were cute, weren't they? :cutie:

I don't know about the webcam. He usually does it. I hope so!

Whatever works for Kay, I will do, since she doesn't get to go as much and loves it so much. We have talked about taking the girls for about a year or so now, so maybe this will be the time it works out for everyone. I'm sure Brooklynn would enjoy having a friend with her, and we would all have fun.

Toby says "carry you"! I think that is because he hears us say "we'll carry you" or "we're not going to carry you" or we ask "shall we carry you"!!!!! I LOVE hearing their phrases!!!!!

My favourite of Toby's at the moment is "mimished" for finished.
Loved seeing the picture of you all! I too hope one day I will be able to meet you, Jill and the girls! xxx

I love 'toddler speak', too. Sooo cute!

Surely one of these days our paths will cross on a WDW trip. :thumbsup2

Love all the pictures from your Mother's Day outing! I think you look fantastic with all of your loved ones!

My hope would be that everyone focuses on how cute they are so that they don't spend too much time looking at me.
I detest pictures of myself.

What a great family picture! I also think it is great to see more pictures of Drew hanging around. I think he might be warming up to the girls.

Looks like it was a fun Mother's Day weekend for you and your crew! :goodvibes How sweet of Jarvis to get a card and what an appropriate one at that!

I hope you and Kay can work out plans for your trip. I'm sure the two little ones would have fun together. I hope you don't have to forego a spring trip, though!

I love the pictures from Mother's Day. You are such a wonderful family!
The girls look so cute in their dresses. I have to admire little girl dresses on other people's children. I have two rough little boys that have scrapes on their knees and hands and get dirty approximately 5 minutes after I put their clothes on.:upsidedow

Love the family picture!!

Thank you, ma'am. :)

What a great family picture! I also think it is great to see more pictures of Drew hanging around. I think he might be warming up to the girls.

He is getting more used to them. I wish you could have seen him when Bella got her finger caught in his bike chain. It was not funny at the time, because poor Bella was in pain, but when we think back on it and on Drew dancing around saying, "Oh gah, oh gah, oh gah!" with a crazed look on his face, we crack up! :rotfl:

I know Drew would defend those girls to the death if anyone were to threaten them, but as long as no one is threatening them, he's satisfied to let the rest of us take care of things. ;)

He said he knew I would like that card. Of course, wouldn't any almost 54 year old woman love a 101 Dalmatian card!?!? :cool1:

I tell you, I am just about giddy over all of the future trips! I am ready to be there with my girls for the Fourth of July, I'm excited about taking Brooklynn in October, I hope the whole family can go at Christmas, and then next summer (if there is no spring trip), I am excited about trying out the new suites at Art of Animation. :dance3:

I love rough and tumble little boys, too. I had two of them myself, and there were always many more little boys hanging out at our house to play. I'm very used to the blood, sweat, and mud that comes with them. I don't think my life would have been nearly as fun without tripping over basketballs and soccer balls, having tools laying all over the house, stitches and broken bones, or having big old boys eating all the food out of my fridge as quickly as I could get it in there.

Anybody else in a Cicada Zone??? I saw my first two on the mailbox this morning. They have arrived!

No Cicadas but for some reason we have roly polys in my front yard LOL!! Of course I dealt with love bugs last week at Disney...now I know why people complain about them LOL!!!!

I'm so glad you had a great Mother's Day!! Those pictures are fantastic and I just love the one with you and your family...what a great shot I think it deserves a Disney frame LOL!!!

Only 14 actual school days left I think I'll make it LOL!!!!

All of your trips sound so exciting and I will definitely be here to hear all the details about them all!!! WOOT WOOT!!

Nope no cicada's here! Had to go look them up....I remember those huge bugs!

Do you know when the Animation Resort is slotted to open?
We don't need a suite but I will be tempted to stay there just because... it looks so cool! ;)

I bet you are very happy about all of your trips planned!

I still havn't decided when we will go next year. But I do know it will have a cruise attached to it!

Happy Tuesday everyone!!!

I am sooooo excited for July! I can hardly stand it :)

I am thinking I might be able to make the NYE meet - we'll see. I'm also planning a birthday cruise for my 30th (gulp) birthday in February but that depends if my friend can go. I also want to take niece Caroline next summer for her 3rd birthday....so I have lots of options in my head. :)

Just catching up. I'm glad to see you had a Happy Mother's Day. Such beautiful pictures.

I have to tell you, your TR has inspired me to book our first stay at the POP ! I'm really excited:yay:. It will also be DD's first trip. Not sure I'm ready to take on the world with a overly active almost 2yr old tho. I'll be looking for some tips ;)

MeMom, you look far too young to be a grandmother!! I'm so glad you had such a wonderful Mother's day.

I had a fantastic Mother's day. The kids sang for the mom's at church and then passed out roses, my darlings made me something at school (a bookmark and homemade cards...well, schoolmade :rotfl2: ) and I got a potted orchid (in my fav colour, purple) and a butterfly lawn ornament decoration from Daddy and the kids.

On top of all of that...we went to my mother's house for dinner whereupon my husband and a brother-in-law BBQed for dinner and took care of all the clean up too!!

I pretty much never lifted a finger all day. Talk about spoiled!!

Love the family picture MeMom, what a good looking crew!

I also had no idea that Steak & Shake served breakfast, we eat there alot in between baseball games on the weekends. It's a real team pleaser, I'm sure they just cringe when they see an entire team full of 10 year olds heading their way though

On one of our October trips, there were a few love bugs, but we only really noticed them at the Pop bus stop one time our first day. They must have been fading away when we got there.

After our school year is over, we have to do a teacher prep day and two in-service days, but after June 7th, I will have my eyes set on July 1 when we take off for WDW!!!

I thought I read May 2012 for AoA, but I don't know when they will actually start taking bookings. We are anxious to check out the suites, since we have not stayed in one before. It may or may not suit our needs, but we're going to try it out. Brooklynn is going to be in heaven with all the new icons to look at over there.

I want to be a member of the Trip of the Month Club, myself. :)
I think I could get by on that. ::yes::

What a nice picture of you and your family MeMom! So glad you had a nice Mother's Day!

We did. Thank you. :goodvibes

I hope you enjoy Pop. We just know it so well, and it is home to us. It will be interesting to see if we develop such an attachment to the new place.

You'll have a great time with a two year old. Just plan to take it slowly and enjoy watching her delight in the little things.

Good for them spoiling you! :woohoo: BBQ sounds yummy, and you can't beat the homemade stuff from the kids. :lovestruc

They have those delicious skinny French fries. :yay:

I used to be a McDonald's manager a long time ago. When a bus would pull up, we'd start slapping down frozen meat patties like there was no tomorrow. I can hear it now - "Six Macs, twelve burgers, ten quarter pounders, drop the fries!"

I am such a sap! That photo of you and your family made me tear up. You can tell through photos and your words, just how much you truly love each other. :goodvibes I've really enjoyed getting to know all of you through your trip reports.

I love love love your family mother's day pictures! What a sweet (and beautiful Memom!;)) family! I didn't really see a whole of my mum since I had to work all day. But I popped over to her house after work and brought her dinner (KFC, her favourite) and her little card and an angel figurine I got for her in the states a couple weeks ago.

It's a good thing we don't have steak and shake up here or I'd be 3 times bigger than I already am! Any place that offers cheese fries and milkshakes sounds good to me! We eat there pretty often when we're in Indiana. Or at least stop through the drive-thru for milkshakes on the way home from our outings! It'd be even more deadly now that I know they serve breakfast! That is one of my absolute favourite things in the world is to go out for breakfast!:cloud9:

I forgot to say that I love the pictures from Mothers' day. So glad you are finally getting in some pictures! My mom is the same way as you are with having her picture taken, but she's gotten a lot better. She doesn't exactly like it, but she doesn't give us "the look" or cover her face every time we point a camera at her or suggest a picture. I think it started when she and my dad went to Scotland back in '06 -- she got in pictures so she can prove that she HAD been there.

Anybody else in a Cicada Zone??? I saw my first two on the mailbox this morning. They have arrived!

O...M...G :faint: I am terrified of both beetles and large bugs in the same way that some are afraid of spiders. When Charles and I were in New Hampshire last summer, we were camping, but had no problem with bugs, which was GREAT for me!
