Geen Yight - She's Out of Sight: A Trip of Leaps and Bounds

*******************************************

My brain is a bit fried tonight. I think I'm going to watch a little HGTV and hit the hay very early. I've had a headache off and on for a couple of days and I just feel a little drained for some reason. Maybe this will be a good night to take some NyQuil and try to get a really hard sleep and hope that does the trick.

I woke up feeling "off" too. I helped my friends do some moving, A and B from the Dec Trip and I came home and tookk a little nap ( and some Aleve). Woke up feeling much better.

Hope you feel better.

Just to add to my enabler training.

The Cinderella pin is mine but I did resist on 3 shirts on sale.:rolleyes1

Feel better Memom! Of course, as soon as I read your symptoms, I was thinking of the different things it could be. It's the doctor in me. Just remember to get it checked out if not better soon.;)
We have a bunch of sick people at our house too. Blake and Cooper still have a cough, Cooper threw up at school today and came home. He vomited a few more times, but I gave him some meds and he is keeping water down. I have a headache and congestion symptoms. So, we all sprawled out on the couch all night and watched cartoons.

MeMom, I hope you have a full and restful night's sleep and feel better in the morning.
So glad everyone came through the last few days of crazy weather OK.
For me, I just hope I don't wake up to snow again.

yes we would love to take in a Broadway play if we can! My grandma loves musicals/plays. Our entire family gets her season passes to the Ohio theater every year for Christmas! So she would love to take in a play!

That will be a fun trip. :)

Hope you feel better soon MeMom.

Feel better, MeMom

I think my sinuses are getting the best of me. I've been sneezing a lot and have this headache that's coming and going. I'll have to snag some of Drew's Zyrtec, I think. :thumbsup2

I ordered the Cinderella pin and a Philharmagic one as part of my income tax treat to myself, while I still had the money. Every time I look at the Cinderella pin, I think of my little Bella girl. :lovestruc It was money well spent.

Sorry for Cooper. Poor guy! It's never fun to throw up. Yuck.

Hanging out on the couch with the boys is a nice way to spend an evening, of course, but it would be so much nicer if you felt better. Hope his stuff (and yours and mine) is short-lived.

I fell asleep while watching HGTV. I heard Trent when he came in, and I turned the TV off. I was pretty zonked and needed the sleep.

We're having a lot of rain and storms around here these days, but our snow days are done for this year. Unfortunately, our zoo field trip is probably going to be cancelled for tomorrow, as the forecast is showing it to be the worst day of the week. :sad1:

It was time to go see Rafiki and friends.

First, there are the elephant friends who have seen our girls grow up.

I told Brooklynn to act like she was climbing so Bella would join in.

The girls visited with Pocahontas.
A pack of raisins was the key to getting Bella to cooperate. ;)

I want to be in Animal Kingdom on Earth Day one of these years.

Raisins didn't help when it came time to see Rafiki.

IMG_1133.jpg

No Bella this time.

IMG_1134.jpg

Today's surgery/procedure was going to be on a grass mouse.

IMG_1138.jpg

We were too late to see the boa.

Dr. Mark Stetter is awesome.

IMG_1139.jpg

He cares so much for these animals, and he is so good about taking all the time in the world to answer audience questions so completely and carefully.

This little guy has no idea how many people are watching his progress.

If I were going to be a grass mouse, I would want to be an Animal Kingdom grass mouse and have this kind of care and attention, wouldn't you?

Glad you got some sleep last night, MeMom! Too bad that you are due for more storms and such today -- that means it is headed our way as well. I guess it will be a Weather Channel night at our house. LOL!

That little field mouse is so tiny! I can't imagine having to do a procedure on something that small. I am with you, though, I would definitely want to be an Animal Kingdom animal if I had to be an animal. ::yes::

The pictures of the field mouse are so cute. We need to check that out next trip, although I hope we miss any Boa procedures:eek:

Glad you are feeling better this morning. Hope your field trip doesn't get rained out! Always fun traveling with you.

Although I had to scroll quickly through the mouse pictures  I am impressed that Disney takes such good care of their creatures, great and small, slimy and cuddly, cute and not so cute. :goodvibes

Glad you are feeling better. Hopefully your storms will not be bad. I have been seeing on the news about NC.:scared1: Very scary!!

Raisins wouldn't help with Rafiki huh?? I don't blame her. He is a little scary looking.

That mouse is so tiny. I would rather work on the mouse than the boa.

Have a good day.

Sorry you're not feeling good :( I used to take Zyrtec, and it was a lifesaver! My allergies went away when I was about 8 or 9. I would definitely take some nyquil and then try to get a good nights sleep! Ava and Olivia are insanely special to me, I feel like they're my younger sisters because I see them so often! Every other weekend since Ava was 3 months old I've gone over and watched them! Last year I started taking them for the weekend so that my aunt and uncle can go on weekend getaways! I love the time I can spend with them! I can't wait until I take them to the World! They've never been :faint: !!!!! I've always loved the animal hospital, last trip there was a tiger that was having surgery and it was one of the neatest experiences ever! Sorry there's so many storms, I personally love them! It's just supposed to be cloudy and possibly rainy here today.

I've never been out to Rafiki's Planet Watch when they've been doing a procedure - something else to add to my list :thumbsup2 It's a good thing that field mouse lives at AK and not around my house....

I absolutely adore how Disney treats their animals, big and small. If the entire world could be that kind, what a wonderful place it would be. :goodvibes Feel better MeMom! We're one day closer to the weekend!

We are supposed to have strong storms later, but it looks like they will be over before our field trip starts tomorrow. We are planning to go to the zoo. We can't foresee the weather, unfortunately, so we'll keep our fingers crossed and hope we get to go.

I'm not fond of mice, but it was interesting to watch that through the glass. Somehow, Disney mice just aren't as yucky as real life mice. ;)

Maybe you'll get something even bigger and better.

I want to take a behind-the-scenes AK tour so much! I watched a four part series yesterday and today, and it was so cool.

So far, we've had an okay day. Our storms are due later tonight, so maybe I'll sleep through it all.

Bella lets us know in no uncertain terms which characters she will associate with. :goodvibes

Zyrtec does help Drew. He has serious sneezing and itchy, burning eyes with his allergies. He's pretty miserable when he has allergy issues.

I got to see a tiger procedure once, too. It was very cool. :thumbsup2

Those girls will love Disney World! :woohoo:

I've never been out to Rafiki's Planet Watch when they've been doing a procedure - something else to add to my list It's a good thing that field mouse lives at AK and not around my house....

They usually do them in the mornings, so if you go in the afternoons, I doubt you'll get to see anything. We often do the safari and then go on over to Rafiki's when it opens.

I agree. :)

One day closer to the long weekend, too.
No school Friday! :yay:

I thought the same thing! You know I hate mice, but that little fellow all laid out on the table was almost downright cute. :lmao: Probably because I assume that since he is a Disney mouse he must have better manners. :rotfl:

How cute is Bella being bribed with raisins! Well, most of the time, that is... I can't say I blame her too much, Rafiki is a bit more intimidating-looking than Pocahontas!

Bella sure doesn't like those monkeys, does she? ;)

Hope you feel better soon. I take Zyrtec for my seasonal allergies and it's a lifesaver. Even though I haven't had any symptoms yet I'm taking a half a pill every day just to prepare myself for the allergy season. Our trees literally bloomed overnight here.

Hope you feel better! I'm skipping my class today, partly for a mental health day and partly because my allergies are getting really bad and since I don't have anything due and my group presentation is done, I can do so without feeling massively guilty. ;)

Kailyn is at DHS today and I texted her to keep an eye out for those skirts. And, this is not definite, but we're looking at possibly going back to Disney in January 2012! It would be after New Years and before MLK weekend, so that it wouldn't interfere with Kailyn and I going back to school for the spring semester. Like I said, it's not definite, but my mom said that she wants to plan a trip, so I'm really excited!

Glad you got a good nights rest.

I can only hope it is just the Oak pollen finally getting to me. i need to break out the bigger guns and stay ahead of this or I will be in bed for a couple of days.

Benadryl at night helps me sleep and helps the Claritin do its job.
