Geen Yight - She's Out of Sight: A Trip of Leaps and Bounds

I thought two year olds were free - shoot, that kindof throws a kink in some of our plans too  We're taking a two year old on our next trip.

OK - you had me worried so I check the WDW website and tickets start at age 3 - did I miss something?

We just took Harper and she was free!

THANKS!! That's what I was thinking..... it's good to know it hasn't changed! :cool1:

Should have been clearer - PLANE ticket. The transportation costs are harsh.

Enjoying your updates!

Danielle was watching the videos of the girls at the pool and Fantasmic with me, she enjoyed them too.:thumbsup2

Yoohoo for Bella doing so well with potty training. I remember that feeling when the diapers were finally going to go away.

Sounds like y'all are having a great weekend visit too.

Brooklynn and I have always enjoyed watching Disney videos, and now Bella joins us. You can see it immediately in her face when she recognizes something. She smiles and gets so intent. I'm very glad this camera has that video feature so that we can do short clips that give so much more of the reality than just a picture. When I watch the Fantasmic clips, I can be back in the huge crowd feeling the mist from the water screens and the warmth of the night, and I can remember the masses doing The Wave before the show. I love the music in this show, so hearing it again as I did that night is awesome, too. :thumbsup2

Brooklynn's game was fun and funny. The girls were cute. I have some pictures to put up later. The DIS has been down during the night and morning, so I won't have time to do it until after church and errands.

Just a quick good morning!

I'm starting to think we will never meet....I will cross my fingers that the NYE trip will work out for all of us. :goodvibes

It's too bad I will miss seing you in October.

I completely understand moving the trip to a better time frame that works for you.

Hope you get a seat sale! :wizard:

I havn't even looked at flights for NYE....from here they are ridiculous!!! :scared1:

I promise to get the pics up as soon as I have the time.
I got home last night after midnight and I'm going to work now and will be home late again.
Can someone PM me and tell me how to load multiple pics in photobucket at one time.
Thanks. :)

You and Pat had me solving "puzzles" this morning. :lmao:

Fantasmic and tie-dyed cheesecake! Sounds like an awesome evening to me! I have had the cheesecake, but have never seen Fantasmic. I think it will be mandatory on the next trip!

Nothing is 'set' yet. I'm tossing around options. We are booked for the beginning of October, but flights are high, and Jill may need to be at work because it's fall break for some schools around there. I have free days later in October, and flights are lower, but Brooklynn is in school. Jill will have to get off either way. Money is the factor. Plane tickets for our early October dates are about $700 more (for the group) than for the later dates. That's a bunch of money! I just wish I could find the perfect part-time job to add to my teaching and tutoring so that I would have enough money to pay it all. I've been looking, but trying to find a M-W-F evening job isn't easy when you have zero talent and skills. I have seriously considered weekend babysitting again, but I think I need a break from kids on the weekends. Except for my kids, that is. ;)

I can't help with the Photobucket. I load one at a time. I'm sure our DIS tech savvy friends can help us, though.

You have to see Fantasmic. ::yes:: Be prepared for a long wait and huge crowd, but it's an awesome show, in my opinion.

MeMom, you and Pat are making my head hurt trying to decipher the messages you're sending to each other :lmao: It's too early in the morning for that!

I'm in the same boat as Jackie, I've never stood in that long line to watch Fantasmic. I've seen the one in DL, but I've heard they are different, I really need to see the WDW version as well.

:lmao: Definitely making my brain work too hard for a Sunday morning! How creative you are!!

Fingers crossed that you'll be able to work out an Oct trip. That is my favorite time of year to visit too! :thumbsup2

:rotfl2: Secret agents in the making!!!

It sort of started over on my TR if you need to see the beginning. :ssst:

For Photobucket- try to bulk uploader at the bottom where the upload button is. It will load them faster.

I hope everything works out for Oct - no matter when you go. I still hope to see everyone NYE.:yay:

My brain is all warmed up now from figuring the messages. Just in time to do report card comments.

I love Fantasmic!! It is my favorite for sure. You know, we have never stood in line. We've always just walked right into the theater and found a seat. :confused3 We weren't late either, this past June we were in our seats for almost an hour and a half..in the rain I might add. But totally worth it!!

If you do change your October dates it would be a joy for me as our dates are Oct. 21-25.:goodvibes

You and Pat had me rolling this morning! :rotfl2: It took me a few minutes to decipher it all but hilarious!

Love the fantasmic pictures---best show at Disney in my opinion! :thumbsup2

Really hope you get to go in October. I love that time of year but can't swing that, summer and Thanksgiving this year! Sure wish we could. I would love to be there the day of the 40th anniversary.

I'll have to youtube the Disneyland one. I've never seen that one.

I do love the fall decorations in Magic Kingdom and the good weather. Besides that, after school starts, I am ready for an October break. :thumbsup2

It was an attempt to help persuade Jill on the October trip. ;)

I got confused on the Photobucket question. I was thinking Facebook. I load them one at a time on FB. I bulk load on Photobucket.

We have one last report card to put out. We really try to reel in the grades in the first 4-5 weeks of the last semester so that we can get some of the paperwork behind us as we close out the year. Since 2nd graders don't have last week exams, we can do that, thankfully.

It was easier to go in and sit and wait for Fantasmic when it was an every night thing. ::yes::

We may see you, then. We'll see some DISers whichever date we end up with.

I love the music to Fantasmic :goodvibes

I do bulk upload on Photobucket. I was thinking Facebook, since I had just been doing FB picture this morning.

If we can go the four times I have planned and booked for, I will be more than happy. If I have to give up one, I'll give up the summer. We could use that chance to try out Dollywood for much cheaper. In the middle of the summer, I don't need the break as much as I do during the school year. Does that make sense? During the summer, I am already having a break. During the school year, I have to have some Disney happiness to keep from going CRAZY!

P.S.

Have you considered keeping kids after school? (I may have asked you that before... forgive me if I have... my memory isn't what it used to be :rolleyes1 ) If you could keep a few kids that go to your school, then you could take them home with you when you get off work, or you could have kids from another school ride the bus to your house (if it timed out right). My kids ride the bus to my house and their parents have to pick them up by 6:00. You won't get rich from it but it is an extra money maker for VERY little overhead cost and can be done from home. I usually go ahead and get my supper started and do chores and whatnot while they are here. Honestly my DD keeps them entertained most of the time. I just have to referee from time to time and give them a snack. I also keep them all day on the days that school is out and that pays a lot better. I actually make pretty decent money over the summer. Definitely enough for a Disney trip, or two! :thumbsup2 I called around to the local daycares and asked what they charged for after school care and then just priced myself a little cheaper. Never had a problem finding kids to keep that way. And I can tell you that parents LOVE having a teacher keep their kids. It makes you highly qualified! ;)

What dates are you considering now for late October? That's when we are going and I'd love to take a ride on Small World with the Memom crowd! Right now we are looking at Oct. 27- Nov. 6th, but that isn't set in stone. Some things are changing at DH's workplace (as it seems to be for everyone these days) so I haven't been able to book anything yet and it's driving me nuts! :upsidedow

Our family spent a lot of time there by the Bowling Pin Pool the last time we were there. Love that place. Enjoyed all the shopping pictures and the Fantasmic videos. Also enjoyed Bella's Birthday party pics. You guys throw the cutest parties!

So glad you guys made it through the storms of last week okay. I think when they got here they had calmed down a bit. It hit in the middle of the night and we heard a little bit of hail and thunder, but nothing horrible. Seth slept through the whole thing, which is the main thing I was worried about!

So glad to hear Trent is home! I know you guys are really happy about it. :)

Loved the videos of Fantasmic! One of our favorites. For some reason I can only see 2 videos, though. When I click on the first 3, it plays the first video. And when I click on the last 3, it plays the video of Ariel and Eric going by. Weird! :confused3

IMG_0985.jpg

This has absolutely nothing to do with the trip but I saw the highchair in this picture and I REALLY wish they had more highchairs like these in public places with the full back on them. Seth is in that weird stage where he's sitting up on his own, but not very good at it yet and his little back gets tired. So he's not very good in the standard highchair with barely any back on it. And he's too big for an infant carseat now so we're in the convertible carseat that doesn't come out of the car. So if he's not in a car seat or a high chair, guess where he's sitting??? In our laps! Not a huge problem but it gets old when you're trying to eat. Frustrating!!!

Video of CM's dancing.

I didn't know they did this! What a fun job. :goodvibes
