Geen Yight - She's Out of Sight: A Trip of Leaps and Bounds

88 degrees, wow! Christine told me it was a lot warmer down there than it was when we were there around the same time last year, but I didn't know it got that warm. That's awesome!

Glad you had a productive day. I went shopping and got my Disney fix in the Disney Store since we went to the mall with the good store. :thumbsup2 As soon as we walked in, I started sniffing and saying, "oh, it smells like Disney." Luckily the friend I went with is my Disney-obsessed friend so she didn't laugh at me. ;)

Adam-12 was a good show. Are there any good, clean 1/2 hour shows on any more?

This reply wasn't for me but it caught my eye since DH and I have just been discussing this very topic lately. We actually have officially given up on tv. :sad2: Last summer I rented the Disney version of Little House on the Prairie from Netflix and my DD just LOVED it! So then I decided to start renting the originals too. Well we all ended up getting totally hooked. I had watched them as a child but didn't remember the storyline of a single episode so it was really new to all of us. We finally decided to just buy the boxed set and watch them in order from the very beginning. We've been watching several episodes a week ever since last July. We just watched the last one this week... 9 years worth of shows!!! And I must say we are all in a bit of a funk b/c it is over. What a WONDERFUL series that was and it provided us with many hours of good, clean family entertainment over the last few months. It really is such a shame that things have changed so much and there is nothing on tv of that quality anymore. I have no idea what we will watch now. So I can sympathize with you on this. But I think the tv producers would be REALLY surprised at the viewership they would receive if they would offer up at least one good quality family show like LHOTP. I can't believe that my family are the only ones out there longing for such a thing. :sad2:

I don't even know what is on the big stations (ABC, NBC, and CBS), other than the news. I think there are about a hundred competition shows, and I hate stuff like that. I've never even seen one, but I don't even like the commercials. I'm not much on drama, and they just look like a bunch of drama to me. I don't turn the TV on very often, and when I do, it's HGTV, Travel Channel, TV Land, or Disney Channel. It seems like I see the same couple of shows every time I turn on Disney Channel, so I don't even turn to that very often now. I do love HGTV, though, because I love to see houses fixed up or to see people choose their new houses. Maybe I should be a real estate agent!

I helped pull wallpaper yesterday, but then I was in and out running errands, and I didn't even think about asking the guy if he wanted to turn the TV on until late in the afternoon. I bet he thought this was an odd house with no TV on. He probably missed all kinds of ballgames he had planned to see while he was scraping.

My favorite series from the past was The Waltons. I wanted to be Mrs. Walton - a big rugged guy, a bunch of kids, and me cooking all the time...I could do that. :thumbsup2

After my time roaming the Pop Century grounds, I found my way into Everything Pop.

Amazed, aren't ya? ;)

It was not crowded.

And I believe Jill got that cookie cutter.

POP waffles being made.

New mugs.

Jill said not to worry.
I had passed weird a while back. :sad2:

:rotfl2: You are not weird! I'm sure we all have various Disney items around the house. Go for it!!! I think it sounds awesome!

Home Depot could indeed be a good meeting place. You could ask potential prospects for some help with your list. "Excuse me sir, do you know what a scraper thingy is?"

I always get such fun shopping ideas when checking in with you. This time the 40th anniversary magnet in the shape of the old paper tickets catches my eye. I remember having those! Can you imagine if we had to pull out a ticket every time we wanted to ride something now?

Have a great Sunday! I saw some of Anita's pictures on FB - looks like it was a lovely day!

I was cracking up over your recounting of your Home Depot trip! :rotfl: There is definitely something to be said about finding a guy who could do home improvement stuff. He would be very nice to have around. :lmao:

I think an AKL bathroom would be perfect -- of course, I might be biased because our bedroom and bathroom are definitely AKL-themed. ;)

I am with Christine, I love the magnets in the shape of paper tickets -- I hope they still have them in May!

:rotfl:....so funny how you described the trip to Home Depot!
I never noticed all the rugged handy men before...I'm too busy roaming around like a lost puppy.
I get what I neeed and get out. (I do love the smell of all the wood.)

My DMom on the other hand could be in there for hours an hours.
I have to put a time limit on her sometimes if we are in a hurry...:lmao:
The Mickey head paint chips do make the going in there more fun.

Glad the wallpaper part is done. I've heard that is a tough job.

I vote for the AK bathroom too! Go for it ....you know the girls would love it! :thumbsup2:

Awww, DIS shopping on a Sunday morning....makes getting ready for work a little easier. :)

I love the 40th Christmas ornament and the tees!

I need to try and get one of those 2011 notebooks before I go. The pen set is cool too!

I don't have any of the kitchen stuff except the Mickey egg thingy. (a poacher maybe?)

I just want to thank you again for posting all these great pics of merchandise!

It brings me so much joy to follow your TR's.

Arrr...off to work I go.
The flu I had middle week has turned into a head cold now....just great! :crazy2:

Cracking up at your trip to Home Depot. I could see how a handy man would be useful to have around the house. I still have a hole in the wall by the garage that Ben was going to fix before the kids were born....almost 6 years ago.

Loving the Pop pictures and the shopping pictures...I've started a shopping list...could get me in trouble. :upsidedow

I have to confess I'm working real hard trying to convince Ben we should stay at Pop this summer instead of off sight....but I know it will come down to $. Your pictures really have me dreaming of Pop. :thumbsup2

I hope your Aunt Joan is on her way to a speedy recovery!

Love your Pop photos. Those Mickey kitchen tools are just too cute. If I cooked, I'd definitely buy some.

Add me to the list for the ticket magnets.

Looks like they put up building right by the bridge. If they already had the check in desk, food court gift shop building up I wonder if those are rooms?

I guess we shall wait and see. :goodvibes

I finally made it to your new TR! Only 21 pages late, but I'm here! I just spent 9 days in the hospital with a nasty intestinal bacterial infection. I'm trying to get healthy enough for our trip to FL this coming Saturday with an overnight stay at POP on Sunday! We're visiting MK just for the day on Sunday and DD on Monday before returning to my brother's place in Tampa on Tuesday. We have to travel far for my kids to see their Uncle too!

Loving the new TR! Can't wait to meet all of you in the MK on Oct 1st! I'm walking/running in the F&W 5K (just like punkin!) so I hope to still be there in time!

Yes, it was very nice the whole time we were there.

What did you get at the Disney Store?

Sadly, nothing. I was going to look for Vinylmations and I saw a couple of cute shirts, but I left without buying anything. I did decide that for my birthday, I want to start a charm bracelet, and there are some really, really cute Disney charms and beads, so I included some links to those when I emailed my mom some ideas.

I always love your shopping and early morning pictures. I can't wait to see the progress on the suites when you go back this summer. We will hopefully be going back next year, so I am really excited to see them for myself!

ok...I wouldn't eat those chocolates, but I want all of the boxes! I suppose I could take photos of them and they could be a fun photo collage in the kitchen! And I love the picture with Imagination Movers on the TV! I always have that going when I'm getting ready in the mornings on my trips! :rotfl: Yes, even with no children around. There's one of them I think is rather handsome...

I guess I could just head to Home Depot to look for guys!;) Last year when we were doing the renovations on the house I went in there several times with lists and had no idea what the things on it were! They are very helpful there!:thumbsup2 But I didn't find a prince charming there either. I love the idea of having every room in the house themed after a Disney resort! If my family would let me get away with it, that's what I would do! :)

Love those measuring spoons. May need to bring some home with me in May.

I started a PTR (link in my sig). Would love to have you join me!

I also forgot to take a picture with Debbie when we met at Pop. I'm failing in my old age. ;)

Well, it was your first day. My brain never works quite right on my first day ;) But it was my 4th day, so I don't know what my excuse was :rolleyes1

Those mugs never appeared at WL when I was there :sad2: We have 4 of the old mugs now  I think I'll make good use of them during my 25 minute commute to school next year :thumbsup2

The measuring cups and spoons are adorable! I need to keep a list of what I want to buy next time I go to WDW because I know there were a bunch of things I wanted in your shopping pictures in the past and I forgot what they are now :upsidedow

So pretty. :goodvibes

Another shopping update with MeMom! By now, I feel like we're shopping buddies.

I love the kitchen items. I see lots of stuff I'm going to have to ask for once we move into our new apartment in June! :)

Sunrise at Pop! I love those pics because it brings me back to our early mornings there as well.

Imagination Movers!! Such a cute show.

MeMom, thank you so much for your help with the pictures. I knew you were the perfect person to ask. They were exactly what I was looking for.
