88 degrees, wow! Christine told me it was a lot warmer down there than it was when we were there around the same time last year, but I didn't know it got that warm. That's awesome!
Glad you had a productive day. I went shopping and got my Disney fix in the
Disney Store since we went to the mall with the good store. As soon as we walked in, I started sniffing and saying, "oh, it smells like Disney." Luckily the friend I went with is my Disney-obsessed friend so she didn't laugh at me.
Yes, it was very nice the whole time we were there.
What did you get at the Disney Store?
This reply wasn't for me but it caught my eye since DH and I have just been discussing this very topic lately. We actually have officially given up on tv.

Last summer I rented the Disney version of Little House on the Prairie from Netflix and my DD just LOVED it! So then I decided to start renting the originals too. Well we all ended up getting totally hooked. I had watched them as a child but didn't remember the storyline of a single episode so it was really new to all of us. We finally decided to just buy the boxed set and watch them in order from the very beginning. We've been watching several episodes a week ever since last July. We just watched the last one this week... 9 years worth of shows!!! And I must say we are all in a bit of a funk b/c it is over. What a WONDERFUL series that was and it provided us with many hours of good, clean family entertainment over the last few months. It really is such a shame that things have changed so much and there is nothing on tv of that quality anymore. I have no idea what we will watch now. So I can sympathize with you on this. But I think the tv producers would be REALLY surprised at the viewership they would receive if they would offer up at least one good quality family show like LHOTP. I can't believe that my family are the only ones out there longing for such a thing.
I don't even know what is on the big stations (ABC, NBC, and CBS), other than the news. I think there are about a hundred competition shows, and I hate stuff like that. I've never even seen one, but I don't even like the commercials. I'm not much on drama, and they just look like a bunch of drama to me. I don't turn the TV on very often, and when I do, it's HGTV, Travel Channel, TV Land, or Disney Channel. It seems like I see the same couple of shows every time I turn on Disney Channel, so I don't even turn to that very often now. I do love HGTV, though, because I love to see houses fixed up or to see people choose their new houses. Maybe I should be a real estate agent!
I helped pull wallpaper yesterday, but then I was in and out running errands, and I didn't even think about asking the guy if he wanted to turn the TV on until late in the afternoon. I bet he thought this was an odd house with no TV on. He probably missed all kinds of ballgames he had planned to see while he was scraping.
My favorite series from the past was
The Waltons. I wanted to be Mrs. Walton - a big rugged guy, a bunch of kids, and me cooking all the time...I could do that.

After my time roaming the Pop Century grounds, I found my way into Everything Pop.
Amazed, aren't ya?
It was not crowded.
The ornament I had my eyes on all week, yet forgot to get.
I did budget for and remember to get the measuring cups and spoons this time.
And I believe Jill got that cookie cutter.
POP waffles being made.
New mugs.
Not much going on in the food court, so it was back to shopping.
