Gaylord Palms taxi to WDW question

Hi everyone,

I am going to be staying at the Gaylord Palms for a conference and a couple of us wanted to try to get to a couple of locations in the in the very limited down time we have.

We wanted to go to the Fantasia Gardens mini golf one time or Earl of Sandwich maybe another time.

The Gaylord Palms does have a shuttle but it only runs at 11:15am and 3:15pm.

I know the Palms is close to Downtown Disney and a taxi would be the best, I'm guessing.

Anyone have an idea of what that taxi ride might cost each way?

Mears had a taxi fare estimator that might be helpful (but it seems to be having problems right now):

It looks like it's about 4.8 miles from the Palms to DTD and about 3.5 miles to Fantasia Mini-Golf. When I took a cab from the BWI to Poly it was about $15 for 4.3 mile trip. So I would budget between $15 and $20 for the cab rides.

To Fantasia Gardens approx $13-$15 plus tip

At Gaylord Palms you will need to call for a cab as they are contracted with a sedan service for front door service.
