Gaylord Palms Review :Stay 7/3/10-7/6/10

So, we booked the Gaylord Palms through Priceline. We won the bid for $75 a night. Once we got there, we had to pay for parking and a "resort fee" per night. My total for the hotel through Priceline was $264 and the total I had to pay when we got there was $117. I didn't think it was too bad considering we had valet for the whole stay. That is the only downfall though with the place. The parking and resort fees are quite high. We got the resort for a decent price per night, so even with the added fees, it wasn't bad at all! This was our first time to the area, so I don't know what any other resorts charge. We had an EXCELLENT time! The resort was BEAUTIFUL! I wish we would've had more time there! We went to Sea World and Disney while we were there and didn't have much time to enjoy the awesome resort! The service was excellent, the rooms were clean, and they had lots of stuff to do! The food was pricey, so we drove to area resturants to eat. You are literally within a few minutes of tons of resturants (fast food and fine dining) and all the attractions. The main gate of Disney was literally right down the road!!

We stayed at Gaylord with our 4 year old daughter, and it was great! She loved walking around in the atrium!! The family pool is awesome too! Although we didn't get to enjoy it much since another kid decided to poop in the pool and we all had to clear the area! They did allow us into the adult pool though.

All I can say is...I can't wait to go back!! I would DEFINITELY recommend Gaylord Palms to anyone!!! I wish we could've stayed longer!
