Gay men kissing in public- what do you think?

Ummmm....I thought that was the purpose of a GAY BAR...for people of the opposite sex to act the same way straight people would act at a straight bar. :confused3

hahaha! Yes, and what I was saying is that because it was something I had not witnessed before it was a suprise to see in real life. I know some people are suprised by Mount Rushmore even though they know they are going to see the heads on the mountain.

How a gay man looks to be the prude of this thread I'll never know. :)

Nope, you're not the only prude. In all seriousness, whether a couple if gay, lesbian, straight, old, young or whatever, I think public making out is nasty. I don't want to see your mating habits ever. Like most on this thread, a peck on the cheek or lips is fine, but playing tonsil hockey is a different story. And that goes for bars, clubs, etc...

Joe and I don't make out in public, never have, even at the beginning of our relationship. Not our style. A kiss hello/goodbye, sure.

I know it is the culture here, but I am totally turned off by the "tonsil hockey" you describe. It's everywhere. It gets so graphic, it looks like sex with clothes on. The girl stradling the guys lap on a park bench........a guy laying on a girl spread out on a bench. Sorry, it's just something I would rather do in the privacy of a house or hotel room. They can't just kiss, they have to do the "I'll never see you again" sloppy kiss....stop for a few seconds and keep repeating. You would think eventually they would stop for a cigarette break.

I really don't like public displays of affection between any two people when it becomes offensive to me. A peck on the cheek is one thing, beyond that is a little much, at least to me.

A simple kiss between adults - gay or straight - is a wonderful expression.

Public Throat Cultures are another matter (again, gay or straight).
::yes:: PTC or throat hockey or spit swapping (along with the associated groping/grabbing) is best done in a room.
