Gay days anaheim 2014.....whos going?

My partner and I will be there, along with my cousin and his partner, and my mom! We go every year and we love it. Living and working in the area has it's advantages :cool2:

I'll be there with about six coworkers and friends for the whole weekend. We locked in rooms at the Grand, can't wait! :goodvibes

^^ Walnut Creek, I am from the area and that is where my Mom is traveling from with my cousin from SF.

We stayed at the Grand 2 years ago for Gay Days, it was lovely. Don't forget pool side drinks one day, you wont regret it :)

I found unbelievable airfare from Seattle to Long Beach on JetBlue for $150 per person round trip, so I decided to take my bf for our 2yr anniversary--SO EXCITED! I come from a long line of Disney theme park freaks, he's only been once as a kid, hope he'll be able to handle me LOL. But the last time I was at DLR was 8 years ago!?!? So I know a lot has changed.

We are arriving on Wednesday, the 1st--thought we'd spend that day kicking around the resorts and DTD. Then we're going to Knott's on Thursday, and thinking about the Knott's Scary Farm party that night--how is it? Has anyone been? I was pretty excited to see that Elvira would be appearing, that would be totally cool to see her in person.

Fri, we're doing DL during the day and DCA at night, reserved the special Gay Days dining package at Carthay Circle for the WOC viewing (has anyone purchased the "Glow with the Show" ears? Is it worth it for the special viewing area for WOC and the DL fireworks?). We were also debating about which of the dance parties to go to, we thought Wonderland at Jazz Kitchen sounded like the most fun of the options, any opinions out there about that?

For the weekend, we plan on spending most of Saturday at DL and most of Sunday at DCA, including the Mad T Party (since you don't have to pay extra for that haha!). Then to finish out our trip we got tickets for Mickey's Halloween Party Monday Night.

I was also wondering if purchasing parkhopper tickets through the special Gay Days "convention" discount page, does the one morning of early entry still apply? Also does anyone have any experience with the reliability of the A.R.T. busses, specifically if they will get us from our hotel near DLR to Knott's Berry Farm? Sorry about all the questions, just been a while since I've been and trying to get all the plans a bit more set, and thank you for your advice/opinions/answers in advance! Can't WAIT to get lost in a sea of red shirts!! :)

Yeah me and my "daddies" are going and I so can't wait since it's been a drought of 4 years without and going to stuff as much disney as I can in 4 days.

We always do the WOC dining package......planning on eating anyways and gets you a good ticket for the show....you still have to get there early though! You should still get an early morning with your ticket.....that's all I can answer....never been to gay days before....we are planning on going to kingdom on the Saturday night.....so many things to do, so little time!!

Just went on disneyland website.....oct. 4 the mark twain riverboat is being refurbished.....so what about the red shirt met up :(. Was looking forward to that!

DBF and I are WDW vets spending our first time at DLR over gay days! We're arriving on Thursday and leaving Monday, staying at DLH. Doing the Halloween party on Friday, too.

Those of you who have gone to Kingdom.....does it start right on time @ 9 or is it like drag queen time lol.

Going to be in Cali for a different event, but I'll manage to get some park time on Friday. Yay!!!!!

I'll be there for the weekend and also hitting up some of the after parties. Very excited! :)

We arrive tomorrow and will hit Friday's Halloween party then gay days all weekend - sooooo excited :cool1:

No Oct DL trip for us this year as we're there in Dec for a wedding. We did make WDW Gay Days this year and we had a blast as always. Have a fantastic time all!

If any of the organizers of this years GD Anaheim are reading this - thank you. DP and I are WDW vets who timed our first and long anticipated DLR trip around gay days and we had a blast. The most fun, IMHO, was the sing and dance along in the Tiki room - that was more fun than a drag show or a circuit party - I haven't laughed so much in a long time. Getting stuck on Grizzly River with a bunch of bears was also memorable. But, most memorable was when my DP proposed to me right after World of Color! We're east coasters so DLR isn't someplace we'll visit much, but if we do make it back, we'll come for gay days again.
