I went when I was young, but I have no memory of it. My aunt went recently and was able to speak with the owner. Seems they had a fire awhile back and lost all their old pictures of the park.:guilty: She said they would give free passes to anyone who brings in old pictures of the park for them to keep.

I went when I was 12 or 13. I'll have to see if my parents have any old pictures.

I read about the fire on their site ~ really sad. :guilty:

DD15 went with family members many years ago...I'll have to check with them to see if they have any pics before we head down in May. Thanks for the info! :)

the fire was in 2006, so the pics have to be older than that. I didn't go until after that.

I can check with my BIL. He used to wrestle gators there.

BUMP--Anyone else have older pictures? If you do, please send them copies.

We went many years ago. Hard to say if we took photos or even have any.
However I work with several people who have lived in this area for years. I will mention this post to them.

somewhere...we have alot pictures. [ from 1998, when our kids were

little.] the front door was design..like a big gator head. i think

we even got a few post cards. the question , where are they now?

over the years.....we took thousands of pictures.....but
they got to be somewhere. thanks goodness, we're pack~rats.

....& i just love gators! especially for their warm &

fuzzy personality, :thumbsup2 { well you don't know my mil,:rolleyes1
& i learn to love her..after 30 years...,

remember how they feed them? chickens on a clothes line , so
they'll jump out of the water.

those were the days. i used to scare my kids....into behavin' by
reminding them..they could be tied..to the clothes..line or
worst, send then off to "grandma walton" , :wizard:

So here is some info on what my aunt was told from her email to me....

"If you have (pictures) Diane Godwin McHugh will be very happy to supply you with generous rewards........She said if you have old pictures, I would give
you FREE FAMILY PASSES...then she reminded us of the fire when almost everything was compeltely lost."

My aunt is Rachel Godwin and you can just tell her that her niece passed the info on to them. I need to see if my mom knows where the old pictures are. Torin would love to see the gators when we're down this summer.

DH and I spent a day there on our honeymoon years ago, so our pictures would qualify if I could ever find them. The biggest or oldest alligator they had there at the time was Ajax.

We have some early 80's photos...bad hair and all...
would you need them emailed?

Was there in the late 70's. Not sure what pictures I have. Will have to dig out the old photo album and see.

I have video of our trip there in March of 1998, don't think I have any pics though. First dd was almost 2 at the time. The gators were fun to watch!

They have a "contact us" tab on their website http://www.gatorland.com

I'd just email them and let them know you have old pictures and heard they would give free tickets for them. THen they can tell you what to do with them, either email or mail copies to them.
