Gatlinburg TN or New York City-where would you go?

My dd spent the summer on the upper west side. She's underage so my dh and I would alternate and stay in with her. We would park our cars for 24 hours for $21-$25 look at:

I live in Atlanta so I really enjoy getting away from the hustle and bustle every now and then. My family and I traveled to Gatlinburg last year and had a blast. We stayed in a really nice cabin we rented from Gatlinburg Cabins Now. We spend our time relaxing, hiking , fishing , picnics , playing games, wading in streams if it is warm enough, just being together as a family.

NYC. Sorry, but Gatlinburg is not worth an 8 hour drive unless you're passing through. We only live a few short hours away and we don't go too often, but it's fun for little trips. Plus your kids are old enough to really appreciate NYC.
