Just got back from an overnight trip to Atlanta from teh Orlando area. Had no problems finding gas of all grades along I-75, stopped twice for gas in each direction. Prices ranged from $2.79 to $2.99 for regular at all stations in both states.

My husband drove yesterday from Atlanta to New Jersey, he had no problem finding gas and prices seemed to be in the $2.69 to $3.09 range.

Not sure of the exact route, but he ultimately ended up on I-81 for a good part of the trip,

If he used I-81, Atlanta to NJ was probably either (a) I-75 to Knoxville, then I-40 to I-81 north, or (b) I-85 to I-77 to I-81.

I've heard nothing about any shortages here in the Richmond area, and the prices have definitely dropped after peaking around the $3.20 mark (maybe a little more in spots). This weekend I paid $2.89 for regular at Sheetz.

I think it was (b). He just sets the GPS system in the car and follows what the lady says. I have him well trained! :)
