AAA has a fuel cost calculator on their web site. Gas here in Michigan is $4.29 a gallon. For a Chevy Traverse it came back at a bit over $600 round trip to Orlando from Grand Rapids. Depending on if you had 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive.

Really? What kind of car do they have? My little cavalier costs about $50 to fill up now. It doesn't use a lot of gas, but I would bet it takes more than 2 1/2 tanks to get to Florida and back. I know PA is closer, but it can't be that much closer!

Fwiw, used the travelmath before. It wasn't all that accurate for us !!!! LOL

How could that be accurate? It doesn't take into account what kind of car you drive, which makes a big difference!

I guess that is why they let you change mpg to reflect your vehicle.
I have used it and it is close to cost.

The aaa one is reliable as well.

I could be having a blonde moment today, but I'm still not seeing where it is letting you put a specific mpg in the equation. Oh well.
