Hi guys! Much to my dismay....when I went for my run on Saturday my Garmin was frozen. It had been plugged up to charge and it's now frozen on the screen saying "battery charge complete". It won't do anything!! :confused3 Can anyone help? Has this happened to you? Please advise.

I feel kind of lost without my Garmin. :sad1:

Thanks for any help!!

Christy - I have the 101, so i use AA batteries, but you could let it drain all the way and then try to charge it again. I would find garmin's web site and e-mail them!!! They can probably help and since yours links to the computer, you may be able to get a firmware update that would solve your problem. good luck!!! maybe they will have to replace your old garmin w/ one of the new ones that have just come out!!

You might try holding the power button in for 10-20 seconds or so. Mine hung up on the virtual partner once but after holding the button in, everything reset and I haven't had a problem since.

Never had that problem, but I second wfloyd's advice. :wizard:

Thanks guys!! I'll try holding the power button. I'll let you know if it works.

Hi guys!! I'm happy to report that my Garmin is back up and running.

I ended up letting the battery die. Once I re-charged it, it worked just fine. I'll be doing my first long run with it again tomorrow. Hopefully, I won't have any issues.
