I was thinking of checking out the Garden walk on our first day. We use our first day as a travel day because we usually wake up at the crack of dawn to drive down and we usually get grouchy quick! LOL! SO I thought some low key shopping and dinner would be fun. Has anyone ever gone to the fire and Ice Grill? I get this discounted Gift Cards offers and one was for a 25 dollar gift card for 10 dollars or 100 for 40. If it's a good restarunt I would like to take advatage of the offer! Just wondering if anyone had any input. I also read there was bowling there??? Anyone else here anything about this or could give me any ifo? Is it very far from the Hojo?

Gardenwalk is just east of Harbor Blvd, the north entrance being off of Disney Way. There is a bowling alley and a movie theatre on the north end, and Fire+Ice is on the 2nd level not far from the movie theatre. As the PP said, they're being foreclosed on, but I'm not sure how that will affect the operations of the tenants. I strolled past F+I over the weekend and it seemed to be doing good business, as do all of the majors on the Katella end of the complex.

I did read that after I posted my post. I am wondering then if most things will stay open until March 9th. I am a little hesitant to buy a gift card for that restaurant if it might not be there!! That stinks!

Foreclosure only means the owners of the property (not the owners of the stores and restaurants) are losing the property.

The restaurants and stores will stay open until their leases expire, then they will decide whether or not to renegotiate with the new landlord (bank or new buyer).

It is not like a house where suddenly your possessions are out in the yard.

It is highly unlikely that much, if anything, would close in March unless it were already scheduled to do so.

I hope that is the case, I really want to look around and possibly shop while im there in march!

OH well in that case :cool1:!!!! Dh likes to bowl and we haven't gone bowling alone since we had our kid 10 years ago!! Now I'm excited!!:thumbsup2 Thank you for the clarification Peri!! :cutie:
