Garden View Tea Lounge - Birthday Cake???

I'm treating my BFF to tea at the GF Tea Room next week on her birthday, and I wondered if I should stick with the menu for treats, or if there was a special birthday treat I could order for her (it's just the two of us, so nothing big!). I also wondered how much it would cost for something special as well. Anyone know??? Thanks!

You can most certainly order something special. You should go over to the Cake Chatter thread on this board and there is TONS of information there. They have some smaller stuff (chocolate or white chocolate Cinderalla slipper filled with mousse, some chocolate dipped strawberries, etc.). The cakes are pretty pricey, I'll warn you.

IMO, ordering a treat from the bakers at the Grand Floridian is the best. They do all sorts of stuff. The phone number for them is on the Cake Chatter thread.

However, the Afternoon Tea offers it's own very nice pastries and they might do a little something extra for you if you note the birthday on your ADR.
