I was thinking the Afternoon Tea Service would be a nice thing to take my mother to during our trip. I know they offer food, but is it enough to constitute a lunch?? Anyone with any opinions is surely appreciated:)

We loved having afternoon tea, we love tea. We just had the bread, but the table next to us had an array of finger sandwiches, and fruit with whip cream. So unless you are huge eaters or meat and potatoes people you should be fine. There is a menu somewhere on WDWinfo for the afternoon tea that lists all the sandwiches, but its pretty standard tea sandwiches.

We went here last month and I used it as a late lunch. I had the Grand Tea (think thats what its called) and it included a lot of food. I was really full after we were done. You can also order items a la carte. So maybe depending on how much you order and how hungry you are, you could use it as a lunch. We had a great time here!

If you do the Buckingham Tea??? you will get tea sandwiches, scones with jam and clotted cream, pastries and a pot of tea each. It is very filling, we also use it as a late lunch or early dinner.
