Hello friends! For my mother's birthday, I'm going to do my best to recreate the Garden View Lounge Afternoon Tea, but at my house. :)

I'm looking for recipes for the tea sandwiches or any other items served.

I did find this one online when I did a google search. It said it was from MICKEY'S GOURMET COOKBOOK: THE MOST POPULAR RECIPES FROM WALT DISNEY WORLD AND DISNEYLAND.

Scones - the Garden View Lounge Afternoon Tea, Grand Floridian Resort

Yield: 24

Ingredients:
4 cups All-purpose flour
3 tablespoons Baking powder
1/2 cup Sugar
3 eggs
2 tablespoons Shortening
2 tablespoons Margarine
1 1/4 cup Milk
1 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Golden raisins
Method:

Mix flour, baking powder and sugar with margarine, shortening and salt.
Add eggs.
Slowly add milk, blending well until smooth. Fold in raisins.
Roll out to about 1/2 inch thickness.
Cut out with 2" round cutters; bake on lightly greased sheet pan in 425 degree oven for 10-15 minutes.

There are 2 recipes for sandwiches from there in the Disney Recipe thread in this forum, just check the Index :wave2:

I was afraid someone was going to tell me that. I checked out the index after I posted this thread and WOW is that thing huge!!!
