Can you order off the menu at the Garden Grove Character Dinner or do you have to get the buffet?

Has anyone done this character dinner, did you enjoy it?

Garden Grove is buffet only. We did it last year. It was pretty good. Overall the food was better than most buffets. The room was pretty empty, so there was a lot of character interaction and buffet lines were short. On the downside, there were only 2 characters (Pluto and Goofy). I don't think it's on DDP or TofW, but there is a DVC discount of 20% off.
