Garden Grove Breakfast at The Swan

Hi! I have a few questions about this restaurant! Has anybody recently gone to the character breakfast here? What characters are there? Did you enjoy it? And, is it part of the dining plan? We are thinking of going here this summer. Thanks!!

Yes, went for the w/e breakfast in September, and probably will again tomorrow. Sat is Goofy and Pluto. Sunday is same, plus Chip & Dale. Food is quite good for a buffet, nearly on par with Fresh at the Dolphin.
No, as part of the Swan and Dolphin, they are not on the Disney Dining Plan.

Because they are not on the dining plan, it's usually a lot easier to get in without a reservation. It is the only character meal at WDW that is not on the dining plan. I'm not even certain they take reservations.

That is what I was thinking that they did'nt take reservations.

They do not take reservations, but you shouldn't have any trouble getting in. (should be little or now wait unless there is a large convention). We have been with large party before, and we just call from the room, give them a heads up we will be coming at this time and they are always ready for us. We have been there in the past six weeks. They are had a few new things on the buffet. I still love the made to order eggs and then go for everyting else.

They really have a great staff there! Enjoy!
