Garden Grove at the Swan ?

OK, so due to a medical emergency with our DS we just had to cancel our trip to CA & Aulani that was to begin next weekend. (He developed a lung problem and cannot fly.) As part of that trip we also had to cancel a few nights on Maui at the Westin which we'd booked with Starwood points. When I was on the phone with them they said that the points would go back into our Starwood acct. BUT that to keep them active we'd need to use the account (like to eat at one of their restaurants) before October. I was able to find availability at SSR for us beginning on the 10th and we can DRIVE to FL to eliminate the flying issue. But now we need to plan to eat over at the Swan or Dolphin. I was already able to snag a ressie for Le Cellier so we don't want Shula's as 1 steakhouse is enough I think...was wondering if lunch at the Garden Grove would be worth considering?? It's not a place that I've heard much about. Trying to go someplace that takes the TIW card. We eat SOME sushi but not lots so not sure that we want to go to Kimonos...Bluezoo looks pricey & we'd thought we'd go to Via Napoli for Italian. Thoughts??

My daughter and I tried Garden Grove a few years ago for dinner and we were pleasantly surprised. It was raining and we were staying at the Swan, so we just went downstairs.

Anyway, the restaurant was rather quiet, the food at the buffet was pretty good. It wasn't a huge buffet, but had a nice selection, and a kids section, and the desserts were pretty good too!!! I think we only saw Goofy while we were there.

I would definitely go back. Usually, when we're in the area for dinner, my daughter loves to go to Beaches and Cream!
