Garden Grocer vs We Go Shop vs any other delivery services?

What grocery delivery service do you recommend? Garden Grocer's grocery prices seem so high and We Go Shop's delivery fee seems really high. Worth it to save a trip to the store but just wondering if there are other options. We could get by with packing bagels/cereal and buying milk, cream cheese etc at the resort (BLT) but we'd like two cases of water, and if we're going to order that, we'll probably add on fruit and other things for the room. What has worked well for you for grocery delivery?

we used Garden Grocer last year and LOVED it - great service - plus they give discounts based on how far out you purchase your groceries. (the highest % off is 60+ days out)

I used Garden Grocer Typically and haven't had any issues.

We rent a car for the day a do our own shopping, where we want, when we want, and we eat a meal off-site.

We use Garden Grocer if we fly. I'm not going to waste precious vaca time or money renting a car when I can just have the few things we need delivered and have it there waiting for us when we check in. FWIW we usually only eat breakfasts "in" so we primarily only get breakfast items, beer, soda, maybe a case of water, milk, creamer etc.

If we drive we bring a few items with us & run out once for a few more things (more beer, milk etc). We never eat off-site as most of the restaurants we pass were just typical chain type places that we can eat at at home any time....

Have used WGS since 2000 ,3 owners. i liked that i get the receipt which shows exactly the prices were. They buy what brands you specify. If you need a second trip it is discounted.

Time isn't an issue with us, we are at WDW so often, taking a break and going to Publix is a treat. Money also isn't an issue by the time you pay the marked up price, fees if any and a tip, renting a car is almost the same price plus no errors with the order! :-)

We used We Go Shop on our last tip because I couldn't get past what GG was charging for things. It probably equals out in the end. I liked the WGS went to whatever store I wanted them to and got exactly what I wanted also

When I order, I tend to do so from Garden Grocer because I like their choose-from-a-list model. I almost always rent a car--the way I decide whether to order or to shop typically hinges on when I expect to arrive---the later I get there, the more likely I am to get something delivered. And, these days, I find I'm buying much less food for the villa, and the resort store is often good enough for what I need. The one glaring exception is coffee.

We always order from GG even if we drive and have a car. I am not shopping on vacation. I like having groceries waiting for me no matter what time we arrive. One trip we got stuck on a closed interstate and didn't arrive until 11pm and it was so nice to sit down, have a sandwich before we unpacked.

We've used GG at least 3 times now and likely will again this summer. Have always been happy with their service.

Coming from a non-border area of Canada, we don't have a preferred US grocery store chain, so that aspect of WGS is lost on us.

To balance the higher cost of using a grocery service, we've learned to pack what we can in our checked luggage (e.g. Condiments, spices, coffee, sugar, etc.).

We are using Garden Grocer again for our trip this month. It will be the tenth time and I love everything they do from the time I place my order to the time I arrive at my resort. There has NEVER been a problem with any order so why would I consider another company.

We used Garden Grocer three times so far...just our savings on water bottles (vs. buying them in parks) usually covers the cost of everything we order. Plus we save on breakfast, as we always eat in the villa...easier with getting multiple people up and out in the am.

Used to use GG, switched to WGS because I want specific things I couldn't get at GG

Not staying DVC this time but I plan on using GG for alcohol, water, soda, and a few snacks. Im all about convenience and theyre the only company ive heard about consistently for years..

I have always used WGS. Never had any problems with them. For my June trip, I am bring my 17 year old twins and my 13 year old nephew. By just having breakfast and sandwich stuffs, I think that I will save a fortune.
