DVC Jedi Masters,
I am need of your help!

We are checking into SSR on 9/19. Our flight gets in at around 6 so I imagine I will be at the hotel around 8ish. We are placing an order for groceries with GG and wanted to know when to place it and how that works? Is two weeks too soon or too late? We would like our food to be there when we get in so we were thinking a 6-8pm delivery time.

Thoughts?

Thanks as always.

You can place the order and add to it if you need to by emailing them....I just contacted them yesterday to inquire about the same thing.

On their website you can see that they are almost always sold out if you want to order next day delivery....sometimes even two or three days in advance. Earlier is better.:goodvibes

We had GG deliver groceries for our trip in early August. I sent in the order about 4 weeks ahead and had my choice of delivery times. Our plane was due to land at MCO around 2:00 pm so I chose the 2-4 pm window. About 2:30 pm I got a call from GG saying that they had delivered the groceries. We didn't get into our room until 4:00 pm then we had bell services bring up our groceries. Everything we ordered was there and all cold items were kept cold, even our beer! We were very happy with their service. I would think that the delivery time you were thinking about would work perfectly for you.

We used GG during our trip to the BCV the last week of July. I placed the order 2 weeks before we left and requested a delivery time between 12 noon and 2 p.m. Our flight landed at 10:30 and figured the timing would be ok. We had already checked-in online, and when we arrived at about 11:45/12 I went to the desk to get our keys etc. while DH went to bell services to check on the delivery, he was told it had already been delivered - and asked when we would like it delivered to the room. After eating lunch, we went back to bell services and told them we were heading to the room and within 15 mins it was brought to the room. Cold items were kept chilled and everything was in perfect order.

Will use GG for all of our trips!

I'm so happy to read all the positive feedback. We're using them for the first time in late Sept. I have my list already and will probably place our order once we hit the 30 day mark. Our flight gets in very early (8am) and we'll just be spending the earlier part of the day at the resort so delivery time isn't as big of an issue.

We have used them several times. The last trip our plane landed at 6:00 and I told them to deliver around 7-8 at the BW. They delivered at 2:30 but, everything was still cold or frozen as the BW keeps it in their refridgerator.

Have a great trip!

We used GG in June. I placed our order in April, it was early but we worried that they would be out of delivery times... Our plane was due to arrive at 5:45pm so we had delivery time set up for the late time slot. It was at bell when we were done with dinner and bell drove us and the groceries by golf cart to our room at OKW. It was great.

I'll add to the positive responses for GC. We've used them several times over the years and have always been very happy with their service and their pricing.

Just placed our order yesterday for a 9-20 arrival.
This will be our third time using them.
