Garden Grocer question

I've never used them before, but would like to stock up on drinks, and yogurts. Can I place an order and have it scheduled for delivery on the day of our arrival, so it's there for us when we get in? Our flight doesn't arrive until 9pm that night, so I doubt we will be in our room before 10pm, and I doubt they deliver that late. So, can we arrange for stuff to be delivered to the room we will be assigned to, even if we haven't checked in yet? Or does somebody have to be present for delivery?

Sorry, still trying to get all of the WDW stuff figured out. I'm a Disneyland veteran!

You can't have it delivered to your room. But, GG will deliver later in the day. When you order, you can choose a delivery window. When it is delivered, Bell Services will take the order and store it until you check in. They will refrigerate anything that needs it.
The resorts are well used to GG deliveries! Won't be an issue.

Bell services will bring it up on a cart and you just tip them.

That depends on where you are staying. If you're at one of the Deluxe resorts, bell services will deliver your GG order to your room. Just call when you get to your room or check in with them after you check in for your stay. With the Value resorts, you will have to lug your GG order to your room. They have what is called luggage assistance, but it is not on demand like at the Deluxe resorts. We've received GG orders at BWI, Poly, and Pop and that is my recollection. When we stayed at Fort Wilderness, they were allowed to deliver to our cabin. I'm not sure if that's the norm. We also used GG when we stayed at POFQ and we hauled the bags ourselves. I do not recall whether there was another option for delivery.

Bell services will bring it up for you and put anything cold away for you. We were in the food court getting dinner when they deleivered ours last year and we had to go all the way back to bell services to give them a tip!

We used them on our last trip and they were great! Even ordered again for a few items during our stay that we forgot on the original order

I love Garden Grocer. We used them this past summer at Wilderness Lodge Villas. I had everything delivered to our hotel early in the day of our arrival (Garden Grocer lets you pick time ranges when you order). Like other posters have said, everything stayed refrigerated until we called bell services to deliver to our room. I have already ordered for our trip this August, the earlier you order, the better your discount.

We were very pleased with them apart from the `turning green´bananas, which were yellow. The small amount of green on the stems really wasn't enough to call them green. As I'd ordered yellow ones as well, we ate a LOT of bananas!

We used GG last year at Pop. Bell services delivered to our room while we were out- put refrigerated items in fridge for us too. A pleasant surprise. Love both GG and Pop. Using GG again for September trip to AofA.
