Thanks for the replies.
I'm still debating whether to get my groceries this way or not. I'm not getting a lot since we are on the
DDP. I just need a few breakfast items, some bottled waters, and soft drinks.
I have 3 options and need advice on which I should choose:
1. Buy my groceries at home.
PROS: We have good prices, plus we are driving. There will be no refrigerated items, except cream cheese which I think I can get in the resort gift shop, right?
CONS: We are staying overnight on the way down. Then we are staying in a concierge studio one night before moving to a 2 BR. It will be a lot of moving things around and storing things with bell services if our 2 BR isn't ready.
2. Buy my groceries when I get there.
PROS: I have a car. Hopefully prices will still be better than what garden grocer's website shows.
CONS: I have to take time out of my evening to go get the groceries. We were planning on just hanging out at the resort and enjoying the concierge lounge. I hate to leave once I get on property. Plus we would still have to store our things with bell services the next day if our room wasn't ready. (We won't have time to get groceries the day we check into our 2 BR. We have a full day planned.)
3. Get our groceries from garden grocer.
PROS: We don't have to worry about transporting groceries at all.
CONS: The prices seem high, plus we have to pay the delivery charge. We will have to have them delivered to bell services since we have a full day planned that day. We will have to wait to go to bed until after bell services delivers them that evening.
Which would you do?
