Garden Grocer Question

I know I read somewhere that you can order bottles of Alcohol (ie Captain Morgans) from Garden Grocer, but its not on their ordering page anywhere... could someone remind me how to do it?

Oh, and I would assume that if i order Alcohol, i'd have to be present for the delivery to show ID, correct??
 
We ordered alcohol through garden grocer with our groceries. You have to write what you would like in the comments box. They will contact you with a separate total for the alcohol. We were able to fax them a copy of my hubby's ID so that we did not have to be present at delivery time. We have done this twice so far without any problems.
 
I think I scanned a copy of the drivers license and emailed it to them. I am glad you asked, we thought we could just get beer from them. Did not know we could get liquor.

Just used them week ago. I added a note to "comment" section, requesting brand of alcohol I wanted and the price limit. When I heard nothing from them I called to confirm it. I was then told they again needed my credit card number as each transaction is different. Was told they would charge me amount of bottle. When I asked what they would have done come drop off date, he had no answer and said he was glad I called. Not very reassuring and really would have made us annoyed to not get proper order.....

They did buy it/bottle and they charged me the full amount (I said up to $20) without showing/providing or contacting me with amount (which they said they do) no proof of anything. BUT, since I gave them that set limit, I just let it ride. I was fine with being charged full amount.

I also had one missing item And a bag of potato chips were completely smashed and bag was open upon delivery.
So, upon opening at the room (its delivered to guest luggage area in a double paper grocery bag) I then had to fish out paperwork and call them.
They asked for open bag back and next day replaced it and missing item.

I personally would not use them again. It could/should have been a simple order and for me, even one extra call, having to bring damaged item back to area for pick up, having a missing item and extra work was enough for me to use someone else next time. They did deliver on day they indicated. Just my recent experience with them.
**We never showed proof of age and were not at resort upon delivery. Never even heard about that till mentioned here,
