Garden Grocer or resort grab 'n go?

I will probably want a gallon of milk and a case of water for our stay. I was thrilled to find Garden Grocer will deliver for only $10 - less than the taxi fare to go to an off-site store and back. But, now I'm reading that some of the resorts have grab 'n go places where I can get these items for a fair price. I'm staying at Pop, so I don't know what they'll have in their grab 'n go. What do you recommend? Also, If I use Garden Grocer, do I give a tip in addition? How much for a tip on a $20 ($10 food + $10 delivery) total?

We ordered from Garden Grocer in November and it was great the only thing is you need to have a $40 minimum order. So if all you want is milk and water I'd see if you can get it at one of the resorts.

Hmm, this must be a new requirement as I used Gardengrocer in September and my order was under $30?? When I placed our order in August there was no minimum order requirement (their website even bragged about it).

We ordered bottled water, bottled/canned soda, breakfast food, chips and snacks and it saved us a bundle!! So much cheaper to take your own soda/water into the parks. Delivery was a breeze and very efficient! I believe I gave a $3.00 tip in addition to the $10 delivery fee.

This was just last month. When you get to the check out screen it says below your total ($40 minimum order), I doubled checked last night again. We will use them again for sure!

I will be staying offsite on International Drive. Do they deliver to non-Disney resorts? Do I need to notify my resort that a delivery is expected, in the event we have not arrived before the groceries? We are driving down from DC.

They do deliver to non-Disney resorts and vacation rentals. I would check with your resort and see if they can handle refrigerated items. We'll be staying at Windsor Hills for the first part of our next trip but we will have them deliver when we get there. Garden Grocer is very helpful, I'd also call them or e-mail them with any questions too!

I don't know about Pop but we stayed at Coronado Springs during Thanksgiving and we found big bottles of milk and water in their gift shop. It was much cheaper than getting the single serving sizes in the convenience store....and we were able to get them with a snack credit on the dining plan.

Do you have to be there to recieve the delivery? What do they do if it needs to be kept in the fridge. We'll be at POP but are part of the fridge swap, so we won't have the fridge right away.

Thanks for all the feedback folks. I did double-check Garden Grocer and they are now requiring a minimum $40 order, so I will have to figure out something on-site.
