We are arriving on 12/8. For those of you who have ordered at that time of year when would you suggest I order.

I contacted them and they said "as soon as possible" What does that really mean?

Thanks!

I have been wondering too. I arrive 11/30. I didn't want to order yet because I haven't decided on what I want to order yet. If you place an order can you add to it?

Never used them but from what I can gather, company isn't real big, if only a few people order from each resort they would need a ton of people and cars. I think if you wait, they could be booked. We were at WL this past September and on 3 occasions saw 2 gardengrocer vans pull up to unload. I think the service is getting great use, we were going to use them this past trip but we found a great limo service to pick us up at the Kissimmee train sepot and they grant a 30 minute grocery stop and on route 192 headed to Disney is a Publix and alcohol store side by side, one stop shopping .

It really does mean do it as soon as possible or they will be booked for the day you need delivery and not be able to take your order. They seem to be very busy.

Yes, I did that with my July order.

I am using We Go Shop and have my delivery time already booked. My list is due one week prior to delivery. Maybe not very helpful but an option.

We have used Garden Grocer several times and always had great service. We usually order about a month ahead of time. They have had our products to our resort at the time frame that I chose every time. If you order perisable items they will store them in the fridge at your resort untill you collect them.

I usually order from GG about 2-3 weeks prior to our vacation.

Our arrival date is 12/11, and I've already placed our initial order (about three weeks ago). Mainly, it was because I wanted to "lock in" our delivery date & time. I probably will send them my additional list of add-on items around the middle of November. We only ordered some breakfast stuff (we're eating in the room for only a few mornings), caffeine-free soda for my mom, bottled water, liquid laundry detergent and snack stuff. Since we have the dining plan too, it isn't necessary for us to stock a FULL kitchen.

-65- days to go !!! :santa::woohoo::santa::woohoo::santa:

Not to hijack the thread or anything but if you have an order delivered to your resort and you're not there do they leave it with the luggage people? We're not going back to WDW again until next year  but I'm already thinking ahead (way ahead) and I'm just wondering if I need to plan time to hang out at the resort or not to get groceries. Thanks - Laurie

They told us that too and said that several days around our arrival date back in April didn't have anymore delivery times available. I waited a day and noticed that several of the time slots were gone on our arrival day. We had them deliver before we arrived, same day, no pershiables, and it was held by the luggage dept at Pop Century. Don't know about off-site hotels though.

If you order perisable items they will store them in the fridge at your resort untill you collect them.

So if we order milk, cheese, and yogurt and it arrives before we do will it be stored in the refrigerator in our room or is there some big refrigerator near check-in and luggage that it will be stored in?

I just checked out the Garden Grocer website and it looks fantastic! I am very excited to try this service on our next trip!

Thanks!:daisy:

I have also been thinking about using them. It sure would be nice to not have to go out grocery shopping after checking into our resort. We are going to be staying at Cypress Pointe Grand Villas. Does anyone have any experience with grocery delivery while staying there? I tried calling the resort to see if they have had experience with Garden Grocer but got no where as there were communication issues (English was not the first language of the person I was talking to and she didn't seem to understand what I was asking her). I would love to hear about experiences with Garden Grocer if you used them and were not staying in a Disney resort.

I believe they require you to be there to accept your delivery and pay (and tip the driver of course ;))

Is there a website we can go to to see what they have to order or do you call them and place a order??? Just wondering we will be there on the 26th of November? If anyone has the websites could you post them please.. Thanking you ahead of time:)

we have used GG numerous trips and LOVED them each time, we were in the parks when stuff was delivered and there was a message on our POP hotel phone when we got back to room, we called to hear msg and POP PEOPLE DELIVERED GROCERIES TO OUR ROOM (TIP$;) )We have always been happy, perishables arrived very cold.
Dont over order...the DDP is very filling:scared1: :woohoo: :rolleyes1
