Garden Grocer for late arrival?

How does the delivery work from Garden Grocer? We fly into Orlando at 8pm, so probably won't be in our room until 9:30-10pm. Just wondering if we can receive our groceries that evening, or if we'd have to wait around for them in the morning. We're ehoping to feed DD with some of the stuff in the morning, and then get into the parks early. Thanks!

Also...are the groceries delivered to bell services prior to our arrival, or to our room after we arrive?

They had us call when we had our room number and delivered directly to our room.

We are using garden grocer and are not arriving at the airport until about midnight. We were able to schedule a delivery for arund 9 (you can chose a delivery time frame). They said that they will leave the groceries with bell services. Or in our case our cabin if it's been assigned. From what we heard some of the bags used are insulated and some of the front desks will place things in a fridge unil you arrive.

We used Garden Grocer last September. We had an afternoon flight, and then dinner at Chef Mickey's planned for the first night so I didn't schedule the delivery until the next morning "early". Well, I got a call at 1am from the front desk that our delivery was there, and did they want me to bring it (POR) Of course, I said sure. Guess you can't get any earlier than that! LOL

With Garden Grocer, you can arrange to have your groceries delivered to your resort's Bell Services earlier in the day, before you arrive. Bell Services will hold it for you, and even keep the cold stuff cold.

Gooding's (www.goodings.com) ONLY operates that way. Gooding's doesn't deliver to your room, they ONLY deliver to Bell Services. Bell Services calls your room -- if you're not in, they leave a message and keep the cold stuff cold, then you call them and they deliver!

Our last trip, we didn't arrive at POFQ until about 11:00 p.m. Our Gooding's delivery arrived at the resort earlier that afternoon, and Bell Services held it for us. There was no need to make any prior arrangements with the resort ... they do this all the time.
