Garden Grille-revolving or not?

Each year we spend alot of time deciding what each family member's must have ADR is. This year my 7 year old picked Garden Grille(she has not been there but saw it and wants to try). We currently have ADR's but I have recently read reviews that the restaurant was not revolving(i.e. broke) which is one of the main reasons that she wants to do it. If anyone is dining there soon, can you update the status and let me know if it is repaired? We make a BIG deal about each person's one must have ADR pick and I am going to try to steer her in a different direction if it appears that Disney is not on top of fixing it

It was not revolving when we were there in Jan '08 (perhaps you have read my description) but I will say that I don't think I have ever heard of anyone else reporting that it was not revolving on their visit. So I don't know that it happens often at all.

I can check this out next week. We were talking about the old name of this restaurant and finally remembered it was once called the Good Turn. ....or something similar to that!

We were there in January, and we revolved. sounds like it's a sporadic problem.

We were there last week and it was not revolving. However, the character interaction at this restaurant was awesome! Best interaction anywhere! Chip and Dale were hysterical and spent so much time with us. We loved the family style service and the booths there are so private. We didn't have anybody else in our pictures. Don't cancel because it is not revolving!

It turns but very very slow. They say it takes on average on full turn for each whole dinner meal I think that means about an hour?. For us it took about one full turn and 1/2 till we were finished but we were just eating, taking our time, etc.

we were ther in Dec 07 and it revolved....but it moves very slowly so that you barely even notice it

we were there June 8 thru the 14th and it was revolving then.

Good luck ! Hope its working while your there, I had never heard of it breaking down before, we have eaten there several times and it was always working.

As the op before me stated, the character interaction there is wonderful.
I know how disapointing it can be to a child when he/she looks forward to something and then it doesnt happen. Throwing some pixie dust your way.
