garden grill???

We ate there on our last trip. It was Chip & Dale and Minnie & Mickey. They were dressed in overalls and straw hats. I guess they were farming that day you know" living off the land." :rotfl: Ok, I couldn't resist that one. The food was pretty good but I think the menu has changed since then.

Chip & Dale, Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto. The food has varied over the years. In December it was the best we've seen in a long time. Service really depends on your luck of the draw in getting a server. Some are excellent, some don't speak understandable English and really don't seem to care.

The only restaurant in WDW that we will never go back to. I can still picture the slimy, greasy, darkmeat chicken floating around in the skillet. And then they brought out the catfish! Yuck - I'm not a fish eater, but DH is, he took one bite and pushed it away.

The bread that was supposed to be so good was dry and tasted funny.

And our waiter was a smug jerk, who rarely came around.

BUT... it ain't all bad.... the characters were very good. chip, Dale, Mickey and I forgot who else. They came around often for pictures. The restaurant revolves so that's a sorta cool. :)

Garden Grill is one of our favorite restaurants! We make it a priority to go there at least once during our trip. The food has always been fresh and excellent...we love the catfish (crispy on the outside and tender on the inside) and we love the flank steak as well. Character interaction has always been plentiful and fun, even though we've always gone there as two adults. We've never had any service issues here. Our servers have always brought us more of whatever we wanted (like gravy :drinking1 )

We ate there on 12/30/05 and really enjoyed it. Dinner started with yummy bread and a caesar salad. The main course arrived all on one plate. The pork/turkey and flank steak were very good. The catfish is not something any of us would ever eat, so we really have no opinion. We liked the potato casserole and the fresh green beans and carrots were a nice addition.

Dessert was a brownie pie, a lemon bar & cheesecake. I really enjoyed the lemon bar. DD was given mac & chesse with chicken strips which she didn't eat, she likes adult food and just shared ours. Her dessert was a cup cake with little bowls of frosting and toppings, she enjoyed this.

Chip, Dale, Famer Mickey and Pluto were all in attendance. Our server was extremely slow, we were at the restaurant for over 2 hours, had to run to get to our CP seating. Getting a refill of anything took forever and our server had an issue with sweating. It was kind of icky, his shirt was literally drenched front and back with sweat. This was really the only unappealing thing about the whole dinner. We would go back

Garden Grill is one of our favorite WDW restaurants! The food is good, I like the family style serving. Chip, Dale, Mickey and Pluto visit your table while you're eating. The restaurant slowly revolves, but it's extremely slow...you hardly notice that you're moving. We haven't been since they changed the menu, but plan to visit during our December trip.

In February we saw Pluto, Chip & Dale and Mickey Mouse. I love this restaurant- it is one of my favourites in WDW!!! The food is great- I loved the dessert selection :)
