I'm looking ahead at some ADRs for our fall trip. We're not park hopping this time, so I'm trying to plan meals at parks I know we'll be at. We have an Epcot day planned that I'm not sure on where to eat. Last trip we did Biergarten, so we want something different this time.

I'm considering Garden Grill (we have 3 DSs, ages 11, 8 and 6....they're still very into characters so this would be good), or San Angel Inn (because we all enjoy Mexican food and looks like a neat restaurant).

I had briefly considered the Rose and Crown Pub, but better sense tells me to wait until just DH and I go. I'm just not sure about the menu and the kids.

So all you Epcot restaurant afficionados, tell me what ya think!

San Angel Inn has a great atmosphere and it's cool to watch the boats go into the Gran Fiesta ride. The food is pretty good on the adult menu, not so sure how the kids menu is. You should definitely check it out if you're into Mexican food!

My family ate at the Garden Grill last June. Food was alright. My daughter was 4 and enjoyed the characters coming around to each table. She also enjoyed her dessert which was decorating her own cupcake with Mickey Mouse sprinkles and some different things. I probably would not go back there again because my step-father and I actually felt a little motion sick from the rotating restaurant even though it moves slowly.

I'd say Garden Grill. You can get chicken strips or mac and cheese for them if they don't like the regular food served (flank steak--which didn't sound apealing to me..isn't that bad and the turkey is good. The potatoe casserole was good also.) This is our favorite character meal. We like how the restaurant rotates, the kids love to watch the ride "The Land" go by. When the characters come to your table, it seems like they are just there for you because you really can't see anybody else.

We have tried San Angel Inn. We love the atmosphere, but the food leaves a lot to be desired, especially for the kids. The food in the CS restaurant in Mexico is a lot better.

We really enjoy the atmosphere at San Angel Inn, but we didn't enjoy the food nearly as much as we did at Garden Grill. I know that if my children (DD15 & DS11) were given a choice that Garden Grill would win out every time.:goodvibes
