We have 5 boys that will range in age from 11 down to 2. We've eaten at GG before, really liked the food, but think maybe we should try something else? We haven't eaten at the other 3, so help me decide! Looking more for good food than characters. If you've eaten at all 4, which stands out the most?

Hands down, Cape May (for breakfast). The characters aren't there for dinner.

Garden Grill is good, though not my favorite...and you've been there, done that.

Coral Reef is getting such mixed reviews that - for the cost of the food - I'm not willing to chance it.

1900 Park Fare is a bit "girly" for your boys, what with Mary Poppins and all that.

But Cape May was OUTSTANDING! We loved Cape May and can't wait to go back!

On our last trip, (January), we ate at all four. Cape May was our favorite!! We enjoyed it there so much we actually cancelled reservations to eat there again. The food was really good, we went for dinner, the service was good and we didn't have to wait long. Coral Reef was nice, but not outstanding. 1900 was fun, but the food...was ok, it was more about the characters which were great. Garden Grill...our party was split on the food, so I would second going to Cape May.

Love CM!! It's our favorite!! Second favorite is CR. The atmosphere and the food are both great, but I do miss the catfish and grits!

I'm gonna go with Coral Reef. To be fair, we go mainly for the Lobster Soup, and they've changed the recipie every time we go. Some times we like it, some time we don't. The meals themselves are OK, but when Lobster soup is good, it's fantastic!

I 100% agree to this post. That's the order I'd rank them.

Coral Reef: my favorite WDW restaurant - love the aquarium view & excellent food

Cape May Cafe (breakfast): very calm/relaxed atmosphere, good buffet but nothing special IMO, fantastic character interaction but there's only 3 characters: Goofy, Donald & Minnie in swimwear

1900 Park Fare: food was sub-par/average-at-best, the highlight was the characters - the stepsisters were hilarious!

Garden Grill: didn't care for the food - thought it was bland/unappealing, character interaction was good
