I have heard that the gameboy can play videos, similar to Video Now, but I haven't seen these anywhere. Is that true? I can't even find that info on Nintendo's web site.

I've seen these videos for sale at Walmart, KMart and Target. They even sell them on the Toys R Us website.
Our little local video store rents them, too.
I think they run around $18 per video.
We've seen Pokemon, Strawberry Shortcake, Spongebob, etc.

how cool is that ! Don't you just love technology ?

My 11 yo just got a Cartoon Network video. He got it at Toys R Us for $19.99. :teeth:

Papa deuce... I have twins as well and be forewarned the sound quality is not the best. If they are going to watch near each other you need headphones. I made the mistake of getting wireless headphones. ( Don't do this:rolleyes: I found out on the plane to Orlando you have to be at least 8 feet from another wireless headphones user) So they didn't work!

My boys each got a game boy advance and we purchased about 6 movies, Spongebob, Ninja Turtles, Kids next door, 2 0r 3 cartoon network collections, and maybe a Dora the Explorer?

The quality of teh picture is good. But for my boys ages. I would have been infiniately better off purchasing one of the Portable DVD players that come with 2 screens. Walmart had one for about $300. I really wish I had done that. If the girls are younger than maybe 6 I would do that.
