I'm a little confused about how this works! We're flying in the night before and staying at the Marriott, which we added on to our package. We also added on Disney Transportation. Do I understand correctly that we still need to go online at the appointed time and select a PAT? I feel certain the agent I spoke with told me I don't need one with Disney Transport, but I don't think that's correct.

And along those same lines, will we be assigned a departure time on the transport back? Our flight isn't until late-afternoon, so I would prefer to have breakfast (second seating) and not leave at the earliest departure times.

If you have booked transportation through Disney from a hotel, it is likely that you will be automatically assigned a Port Arrival Time so that you can enter the terminal when the bus arrives. You will still need to complete the other steps of Online Check-In before your cruise, but you can do that at any time and don't need to be online at the stroke of midnight Eastern Time.

You will be informed of the post-cruise departure time a day or so before the end of your cruise. If there are multiple buses scheduled, your departure time will be based on your flight time, so you should still be able to get 2nd seating breakfast. (On my last 2 cruises out of Southampton, our time to board the bus to the airport was after 2nd seating -- that's the only time I've taken a Disney bus from the port.)

We are doing the exact same thing in February. Flyng into IAH, staying at the Marriott, and being picked up in the hotel lobby the next morning by Disney Transportation. This is not our first cruise, but it is the first time using Disney Transport. From all that I have researched it seems that even though we technically do not need a PAT, you should still go ahead and choose one if given the option to because we do need the boarding group # that is automatically assigned with a PAT.
