Gall Bladder Question - Updated 10/27

This morning I had my extremely painful ultrasound. That was at 8:30 this morning and I'm still having sharp pains from it.

This afternoon my doctor called with the results and they said I do have multiple stones and suggested I go ahead and get it removed. He doesn't think I'll get much relief until it has been removed.

Now I'm in the process of trying to find a surgeon in the town I want to have the surgery done. I don't want to do it where I live because I don't have any family here and no close friends, which means I don't have anyone to take me home after the surgery or care for me. My hope is that my boss doesn't get upset with me for deciding to have it down somewhere else. I'm afraid she might get upset because I may have to miss an extra day or a few extra hours.

You will need at least a week off after surgery so it doesn't much matter where you have it done!

You go where it 'works best for you'

Glad you're getting this taken care of chell. You definitely don't want to end up like I did. When you're praying for death, you know you're sick.
