Hello All ~ I'm been reading thru WISH threads and noticed a few negative comments about "reasons/excuses" for gaining weight.
I'd like to give our "reasons/excuses" a positive hug for a change. Gaining weight DOES serve a purpose in our lives.
Here is my story in brief. I battled weight all my life. I've been 120 lbs as an adult and 240 lbs as an adult. I've had stresses like everyone else and dealt with them thru food. I know it's not healthy, but can be controlled with effort, support and good attitude. The food I ate served a purpose of comfort, social and de-stressing purpose at the time. Now I CHOSE to comfort myself with healthy choices. I embrace the calories I ate to sooth me and I'm ready to let them go. THANK YOU EXTRA CALORIES, you served me well.....and now.....good-bye.
I just wanted to share that with you all. Blessings, Sandra
