GAD Redemption/Suggestions

We will be checking in at AKV this Sunday. I have a GAD voucher to redeem for a one day ticket which I will then upgrade to a multi day ticket when we enter the park ( I think that's the way you have to do it?)
We will not be going to a park on Sunday. Can I redeem the voucher at the hotel? Downtown Disney? or does it have to be at TTC or Guest relations. We plan to go to MK on Monday and get a rope drop start so would rather not have to deal with the innitial purchase Monday morning if possible. Suggestions?

I think you are right that it can only be done at the Ticket Booths at the Parks or TTC. One of the reasons for that it you must use your 1st day on the day your redeem it. So, even if you could redeem your voucher at DD, Sunday would then be your first park day used from your multi-day ticket. Best of luck -- Suzanne

I'm not sure about the multi day ticket but when I renewed my AP they took the $84 value of the GAD off the price of my AP.

We were able to redeem out GAD tix and turn them into DVC AP's. We did it at the TTC.

You need to do the redemption on the day you will be going to a park because you will actually be using the GAD and then upgrading for additional days.

We were instructed to go to the "will call" window at each park when we redeemed our vouchers the end of May. They were able to issue the DVC AP (using the voucher credit) upon entry.
