GAD - FP or Free Ticket?

My DH and I each have a GAD Voucher.

Can I do below:

Based on below's agenda (no hopper), would you buy the 3-Day MYW with free upgrade to 5-Day Base Ticket (purchasing from an outside source) and
then get the GAD as the FP? If so, which park do you recommend us using the FP option?

Do you have to purchase your tickets directly from WDW to use the GAD Voucher?

- one PM with EMH at MH
- one full day at DSH
- one full day at MK
- one full day at Epcot
- one full day at AK

It is totally up to you. It doesn't matter the source of the multi-day ticket, so long as it is valid.

But the "free upgrade" from 3 days to 5 days is only $9. You'll still pay $219+tax. If you get the free GAD ticket and upgrade that to 5 days, you'll only pay $149+tax. If the FP is worth $70 for you, go for it.

Personally, the least likely place I'd use the FP is at AK, just because there aren't that many attractions to use it on and you can generally do everything with your regular ticket FPs.

Edit: note that the $219 is the undiscounted price. You'll probably save a few more dollars off via a discounter.
