I don't want to over complicate or confuse the CM's when going to see about a GAC.
I am not even sure if she will need one. Should we even ask?
I know moms disabilities are not as great as some just want this to be a happy time for my mom.

I have read & re-read the FQA at top
That is why I am asking here.

Mom has the following needs/issues

Mom cannot be in the sun/heat too long/Dehydrates very quickly
Things we are doing to help
Going in morning & late afternoon
Mom caring a parasol to help block sun
Mom wearing hat & sun block
Bring something to drink for mom to carry

Mom has blockages in her legs & other medical conditions that she cannot walk or stand too long
Things we are doing
We are bringing her wheelchair & walker w/seat
Renting a scooter in parks if needed

Mom is blind in one eye & is a having some light & other issues
Things we are doing
We are brining mom’s eye drops/sunglasses

Mom has an ostomy & a surgical wound that needs dressing changes
We are brining plenty f supplies & putting them in a locker.
I am going to check first aide to see if I can put them in there & if I can do emergency wound dressing in first aide

So should we even go to GR to see about a GAC?
Am I forgetting something to help us?
Does anyone have any other ideas to help make this a magical trip for mom?

TIA

Yes you can leave your medical supplies at first aid. Also any meds that need to be kept cool. No problem with doing a dressing or ostomy change there as well.
We don't normally say what to ask for as you need to be able to clearly state what your Mom's needs are yourself.
What you plan to do is excellent. Also if your Mom needs to rest there are cots in first aid that she can use if you don't want to go back to the resort.

Thank you both very much

Most of the things we are doing we learned here.

So thank you all so much for the disABILITIES board
