If someone has a knee brace (had surgury) and can't stand for periods of time would they get a GAC? I know people in wheelchairs/walkers/with canes don't need a GAC but what about someone with mobility issues who doesn't use a wheelchair/walker/cane?

Thanks!

IF someone has a knee brace, that is a mobility problem. They should use either a wheelchair or ECV. There is no specific GAC for "knee braces."

They would need a wheelchair/walker/ecv because a GAC doesn't provide access to seating in a queue, only a wheelchair/etc does.

Oh I didn't think of that- just rent the wheelchair so they can sit down while waiting- duh.... thanks!! :thumbsup2

The normal and official response from Guest Relations for mobility and/or stamina problems is that the Guest rent a wheelchair or ECV.

The only reason a GAC might be given for a brace is if the Guest has to avoid stairs and the brace is not visible; if it is visible it would serve as a GAC.
