GAC - Fantasmic Question

I have been trying to get a Fantasmic package, but all sold out for the day I want, I have to go over my schedule to see if I can possibly go on another day, i will not stop trying to get the day I really want but if the time comes and I have not been successful in obtaining an adr, are you able to use the GAC to limit the wait for my son?

Although I have seen people post that a less crowded entrance is used for guests using GACs and wheelchairs, I have personally never seen one used and when I have asked CMs directly ( even those working the area well before guests are being let in), I have been told that GACs are not used for entry (at least on the nights I asked).
I specified that I had a DD who uses a wheelchair and has a GAC (which they did not want to look at to see the stamp).
I was told GACs at Fantasmic were used once inside for guests who needed to sit in the handicapped area without a wheelchair. The last 3 rows all across the theater are the handicapped area.
