Ok, does anyone find this weird.

I called to check rates for the fairytale package for 2 Adults and 1 5year old. I asked about the 7n-8day stay and for a 5n-6day stay at the all star sports..standard room...in July.
The 5n-6day stay was more expensive.

We were quoted:

7n-8day stay= 1,159.93
5n-6day stay= 1,177.00

Then I saked for a quote for 1 adult 1 10year old, and 1 12 year old.

Quote was

7n-8day=1,230.29
5n-6day=1,664.94

When I brought this to the cro's attention, he was shocked. He double checked the quotes, and then asked his superviser about it. The only thing they could figure out to explain this was that the longer you stay the more of a discount you recieve.

Ok, I thought any days after the original 4 were free. Can someone please explain this to me. Am I the only one who this does not make sense to? I would love to hear some opinions,...and even some answers if anyone has some.

Thanks,

Steph

My understanding is that this package is pay for 4 and get 3 free - anything else and you cannot get the package discount.....

You have to stay seven full nights. Not five. not six. They want you there, seven nights, eating on-site, etc.

I suppose you could skip out on your vacation early. :D

You can get the discount with the less than 7 nights. If you book 5 nights you only pay for 4 nights, you get 1 night free.
I just booked 5 nights and I paid for 4 nights and got one free, the cost for just me at the AS Music with tax was $646.00.

Hmmm. Then I don't know why Stephanie had the different quotes...

The CRO said that in order to get the discount you have to stay at least 5 nights because you pay for 4 and get 1 free. They did not say that you had to stay the full 7 to get the discount. This makes no sense to me. If the extra nights are supposed to be free, why are the pricess diffrent. The CRO was even supprised that the rates were diffrent because the extra nights are supposed to be free.

I don't know why the quotes are different. But I do know you don't have to book the full 7 nights to get the discount. I originally booked 6 nights, paying for 4, getting 2 free. We switched our plane tickets to get the extra night, same exact price as the original 6 nights, so we are staying the 7 nights now.

stephaniebatesjones- man that is freaky. That goes beyond paying the same price for 4 nights but staying for 7. What the CM you talked to seems to be saying is stay the whole time or get billed... but that is quite a bit different from what others have been told (and quoted) when making their ressies.... strange....

I booked it anyway, but i'm wondering if i should call back just to double check or something. But what would I double check? Maybe get the quotes again from a diffrent CRO, or check for 5nights, 6 nights, and 7 nights. Any suggestions.

After comparing the price they gave me for a 5 night stay with the FTP it is cheaper if I can get an AP discount on the room and get park hoppers! I do believe now the FTP is a really good deal if you are at least staying for 7 nights only!:smooth:
