Just wanted to pass this along to anyone traveling Delta in November/December.

I've been checking everyday and today I saw that my flight down to MCO was gone and my flight coming home (12/9) to BOS was moved from 1:55 to 2:30 which isn't bad.

So I called and she put me on the other flight I wanted which is 4:30 p.m. instead of 5:40 canceled flight and I also could have chosen a 6:30 flight both of them still direct.

You definitely have to keep on top of it. No one contacted me and I was always told to call back November 1 for changes to my flights....

Thanks for the info beattyfamily After reading your post I cheked our itinerary and our flight had been moved up up 5 hours. I called and got it changed for the next day. The agent was very helpful and accomodating. She said the changes just went into effect this morning.I am so glad I saw your post because we got the last seats on the plane.
Thanks for the update.

My flights were cancelled as well. Mainly my early flight from HSV to ATL and my late flight from ATL to HSV.

I called Delta as soon as I saw the problem on my itinerary and they fixed me up with the flight the night before and on an earlier flight my last day. They're going to send me a new e-ticket receipt and everything's cool.

My new flights were on the website almost immediately, I picked seats I liked better than the ones they had for me and that was accepted immediately.

FYI - If you can, right before you leave for the airport check your seat assignments on-line, if there are empty rows, switch to it right quick, then you have a great seat.

delta.com does keep the itineraries and seat assignments on-line for Skymiles members.

was changed as of this a.m (ATL-MCO leg was cancelled). The new one only gave us 1/2 hour layover in Atlanta, last flight of the night (and we have nonrefundable hotel ressies at HRH). I called Travelocity (who I booked through), who called Delta. At first the Delta rep said half hour was plenty, no need to worry (yeah, right). When I pushed, she agreed to put me on a flight that will go through Cinc. instead, and get us there at 9:30 pm instead of 11:30, hurrah! I'm still surprised that they cancelled the second leg of that flight, because it was full, unless they're trying to not have flights fly so late...

Our flight was canceled too. We were to leave on a non-stop Delta Express, now we change in Atlanta on Nov. 4. We are now flying down the day before. Otherwise the flight was leaving at 5:30 a.m and we live an hour and a half from the airport, plus getting there two hours early..... I'm sure you get the picture. So thanks to Vicki at Dreams we have a room for the extra night. Doing our part for the economy! Actually I just feel lucky to be able to go and changed flights, while a bit of a pain aren't the end of the world. Faith

Our Delta Express flights for Nov/Dec were either cancelled or changed. My choices on the outbound from Newark were 7:00AM or 2:05PM and one was too early and the other one would get us in too late to make the DISCON reception, so we changed to go the day before. We also changed the return flight to the day after. So all this mess gets me two more days in WDW....We have to pay the extra hotel nights but there was no fee for changing the flights. The car rental was only $21 extra for the 8th day for a full size from EA National.
