I just got an email from Randy saying "I used to shoot in the parks but now Disney Changed this and now all out side vendors can not shoot in the parks but I can at all other Disney location"

Just an FYI in case anyone else was considering a wedding in front of the castle. I am so frustrated about this now but so glad I found out before I booked someone especially since I was thinking about using a photographer from St Louis rather than Orlando and he would have had no idea about it!!

Yes, unfortunately that rule's been around for a few years now (since maybe 2009?). It's so disappointing, especially when Disney photography quality has been so hit-or-miss in the past. They do have some photographers now that lots of couples have been really happy with, and you can always request the ones you'd like to have shoot your wedding (though of course they don't guarantee who you'll get).

You can request a photographer but there is no guarantee you get the one you requested. I know a lot of people like Ty, Amy, and Cassie.

We had Amy for our VR and Ty for our MK and Epcot shoot. Both were fantastic!
